Not to mention the fact that Jehovah’s Witness’ baptisms are full-on Girls Gone Wild.

They do dress sharp though. Oh these are Mormons. I don’t know how Jehovah’s Witnesses dress.

Yes, this meme is retarded and yes I am probably losing my edge due to the stress.

You might think I’m being trolly or satirical with a headline announcing that banning a cult intensifies freedoms.

I am not.

The word “freedom” has lost all meaning in our kiked-out dystopia.

DW:

Russia’s Supreme Court has branded the Jehovah’s Witnesses as an “extremist group” and banned them from operating in the country. The court ordered the government to seize the Christian group’s property.

Justices on Russia’s Supreme Court issued a ruling on Thursday that bans Jehovah’s Witnesses from operating anywhere in the country.

The court also ordered the closure of the Christian group’s headquarters in Russia and its 395 local chapters. The ruling also said the organization must hand over all its property to the state, Russian news agencies reported.

“They pose a threat to the rights of citizens, public order and public security,” Interfax news agency quoted justice ministry attorney Svetlana Borisova as saying.

The decision comes after the justice ministry said it found signs of “extremist activity” within the Jehovah’s Witnesses and requested it be banned.

Sergei Cherepanov, a Jehovah’s Witnesses representative, said the group plans to appeal the decision in the European Court of Human Rights.

“We will do everything possible,” Interfax quoted Cherepanov as saying. He added that he was worried that members of the group could face jail time if they continued to gather.

Jehovah’s Witnesses has come under increasing pressure from Russian authorities over the past year. Several of the group’s publications were placed on a list of banned extremist literature, while prosecutors have described it as an organization that destroys families and threatens lives.

…Human Rights Watch criticized the court’s decision as an impediment to religious freedom in Russia.

“The Supreme Court’s ruling to shut down the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia is a terrible blow to freedom of religion and association in Russia,” said Rachel Denber, deputy Europe and Central Asia director at Human Rights Watch.

Here’s the thing.

“Freedom” does not mean living in a society where everyone is able to do whatever the hell they want. That is just chaos – and chaos created by giving weird minorities rights to do whatever the hell they want reduces the freedom of the majority.

And if the majority is having their freedom reduced in order to give “freedom” to weird minorities, than there is a net loss of freedom in society.

Weird cults damage society. They break-up families through scientific methods of psychological and emotional manipulation. They damage the social fabric by splitting people off into isolated groups. All for the goal of making money for deranged international scam artists.

People have the freedom to live normal, safe and secure lives when their society is stable and unified.

The only religious ideologies that should be allowed in Western societies are normal Christian sects native to the nation or region (I think Mormons should be allowed in Utah, but not anywhere else) and general irreligiosity (that does not include the bizarre evangelical cult of “atheism”).

Religion means “to bind.” It is something that has, throughout all of history, been fundamentally good. That is just a sociological fact.

But then this crazed German whackjob Martin Luther came along and basically acted to found a neo-Bolshevik ideology that ended up as an insane, bloody disaster. I guess maybe he had good intentions, I don’t really know, but he was a rebellious person and we are still suffering from his actions.

And I say this as a proud Anglo-Saxon Protestant (despite my state as a full-on third-to-half potato nigger, I was raised 100% protestant). This isn’t about spirituality, it is about sociology. And it’s a bigger issue than I’m going to go into here.

But the bottom line is this: Western religion no longer binds people, it tears them apart.

I don’t know what the solution is in the West, and I would never be so presumptuous to offer it to you even if I did know what the solution was.
