Awake Goy Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Khaled al-Khazan denounced the media reports about alleged advances of the Saudi-led coalition forces in Yemen, emphasizing that Ansarullah fighters and the Yemeni Army troops are properly resisting against the coalition forces.
“There is no video image to prove that they (Saudis) have entered Ma’rib (city),” he said, emphasizing that they are stationed in the deserts of the Ma’rib Governorate and have not captured the city.
“If you are brave enough, release just one picture of the districts you claim to have entered,” Khazan said.
Yemeni fighters are powerfully fighting on all fronts and the remarks by Saudis, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir in particular, about such advances are just “media fuss”, he stated.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by a coalition led by the Saudi regime for nearly a year but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
More than 8000 Yemenis, including many women and children, have died in the Saudi-led aggression so far.
