Saudi regime urges the West to pile up pressure on Iran

According to IRIB World Service, the advisor to US president, Ben Rhodes, has announced the newly-appointed Saudi King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, in a meeting with Obama in Riyadh on Tuesday has emphasized that Western regimes should pursue the policy of restriction of Iran’s nuclear plan throughout the negotiations.

This comes while the Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukio Amano, has recently praised Iran for its commitment to its nuclear obligations.

Under these circumstances, it seems that the Saudi king intends to somehow divert the attention of the international community from the wide-scale violation of human rights in Saudi Arabia to Iran’s peaceful nuclear plan.
