A man hit by a car in Sydney’s southwest has died.
The man, aged in his 80s, was struck by a bronze Toyota Camry, while attempting to cross Kurragong Rd near Tallowood Ave, Casula, at 11.30am (AEST) on Thursday.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene but he died from extensive injuries shortly after being taken to Liverpool Hospital.
The driver of the Camry, a woman in her 80s, is assisting police with their investigation.
She has undergone mandatory blood and urine tests and will be formally interviewed later.
