Shamkhani: Designation of Int’l Quds Day a wise measure to promote divine prudence

Tehran, July 1, IRNA – Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SCNC) Ali Shamkhani said that designation of International Quds Day signifies a completely well-calculated and divine prudence.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of Quds Day rallies in Tehran on Friday, he added that 38 years ago, nobody thought about the reason behind designation of the day while today the situation in the Arab world and Islamic world indicates that the decision is a well-calculated move.

Holding Quds Day rallies with Iran as pioneer amounts to reviving the issue of Palestine and all efforts are aimed at preventing marginalization of the issue, he added.

Demonstrators in Iran and worldwide are unanimously shouting that the main subject of the Islamic world is keeping alive the issue of Palestine, the chief security official noted.
