AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Special units of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped two Palestinians from Beit Ummar village, to the north of Al-Khalil, on Tuesday including an injured youth.

Yousef Abu Mariya, the spokesman for the village’s popular committee, told Quds Press that the unit, backed by IOF soldiers, beat up the two young men Emad Abu Hashem, 22, and Mohammed Zahakik, 19, before taking them away.

He said that Abu Hashem was wounded last Saturday when the IOF soldiers deliberately fired a gas bomb at him during the weekly Beit Ummar anti-wall march. He added that Abu Hashem was still suffering from his wounds including a broken hand.
