A little L’chaim to farewell Olim and Olot in Sydney 🥂💙🤍
Today in Sydney, there was a small event in honour of our upcoming Sydney Olim and Olot! We have 12 (!!!) leaving in December and a few arrived for a festive goodbye at the Jewish Museum.
They shared their feelings about their upcoming journeys – great excitement (and a touch of apprehension!) for all that is to come – the known and unknown!! It has been a crazy year, but what a way to end it 😍💙🤍
The group was joined by Rodney Naumburger, President of Zionist Council of NSW, who blessed them on their journeys and gave them a gift from the ZFA – a lovely mezuzah to put on the door of their new home in Israel.
We wish them a safe journey, Mazal Tov and Behatzlacha! At the end of every path there is a home 🏡💙🤍
Pictured here: Rodney Naumburger with Olim Shura and Rudy Fest, and Boaz Hadari – Aliyah coordinator Sydney and Shaliach for Habonim Dror Sydney.
Wishing all of our friends from around the world, but especially our Olim and Olot preparing on their new adventures, a Shabbat Shalom 🙏🏽💙🤍
