Syria: Intense Battles between Syrian Army and Terrorists

Syrian Army regained control over orchards between al-Ghouta and al-Qarabis.

Intense battles and clashes are taking place in several regions of Syria and the the units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) are still successful in the majority of the targeted military operations against the foreign-supported terrorist and jihadist forces on Syrian soil.

In addition, a unit of the Syrian army has successfully regained the control over the orchards, which are located between the areas of al-Ghouta and al-Qarabis. The local foreign-backed terrorists in the areas of al-Qarabis and al-Ghouta were killed and wounded and then pushed out of the orchards. The areas of al-Ghouta and al-Qarabis are located in the western city of Homs.

The fierce clashes on Syrian soil are still ongoing and the troops of the Syrian army carry out endless target attacks on several terrorist hideouts and bases in some regions of the Arab nation. In addition, the liberation of the strategically important city of Homs is still imminent and just a question of days, if not hours.

The small pocket in the city of Homs, which is still occupied by terrorist forces, will soon be cleaned. The former “capital of the terrorists” is soon liberated and this victory of the local units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) above the violent terrorist groups is probably a very significant sign for the upcoming weeks and months.

The most intense clashes between the Syrian army and the foreign-backed terrorists on Syrian soil were followed by significant gains of the Syrian army, which consists of all parts of the Syrian society. The armed terrorist groups in Syria, still supported by several Western governments, the Israeli regime, the Turkish Erdogan regime and the two totalitarian dictatorships of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, are losing ground and hope.

Their situation in some parts of the Arab nation is already very desperate and the armed infighting with the violent jihadist brigades of the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch (Jabhat al-Nusra / al-Nusra Front) is certainly no benefit for their current situation.

The Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot (Jabaht al-Nusra) has committed gruesome crimes in the recent days. First, the massacre against over 450 Kurdish civilians, including 120 children and many Kurdish women. Another jihadist group of the so-called Jabhat al-Nusra has set three hostages (Syrian Kurds) on fire and already some days ago, several jihadist forces have kidnapped about 200 Kurdish civilians, while the current situation of the Kurdish hostages in the hands of the violent jihadists is not really known.

After the reports about the kidnapping of the Kurdish civilians in northern Syria, there were no real follow-ups of this next crime by the Al-Qaeda forces on Syrian soil. It is only sadly known that the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch (al-Nusra Front) has alleged massacred over 450 innocent Kurdish civilians, including many Kurdish women and about 120 innocent children. Probably the worst crime on Syrian soil since the beginning of the foreign-supported proxy war and terrorism between the borders of Syria.

Further, due to their partly desperate situation, some groups of the foreign-supported “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) rely now again on bomb attacks and acts of terrorism, especially in the area of the Syrian capital, Damascus. That leads to the situation that nobody really knows whether the foreign-supported “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) or the al-Nusra Front is guilty for such suicide bombings or car bomb attacks in the region of the capital, Damascus. However, this is finally not really important, because both “groups” have to be eliminated.

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad said in a speech on the Syrian state television recently, that an “iron fist” is the only means of how to put an end to the foreign-supported terrorism and violence on Syrian soil. In contrast to the media reports by Western mass media, which have falsified their coverage of the speech of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad wilfully, the President of Syria explained after his statement of an “iron fist against terrorism on Syrian soil” that the secular government in Damascus still maintains the political options and hopes that there will be a political solution to the Syrian war / Syrian conflict, which has gripped the secular Arab nation since March 2011.

The Western mass media (e.g. in Germany, France, Italy, Britain…) has wilfully falsified their coverage of the speech by the Syrian President in order to present him as a person who is not interested in political solutions or negotiations, but in an “iron fist” against democratic rebels.

Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s President, said in his speech from Sunday:

“There cannot be any political efforts or political progress if terror is striking everywhere. Therefore terror must be struck in order to get the political process moving on the right track.”

In terms of the headline about the ongoing intense battles by the Syrian forces against the foreign-backed terrorists, the clashes are still continued in many areas of Syria today. Some units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) were able to eliminate a terrorist group in the countryside of Lattakia (Latakia), while another unit of the Syrian army has foiled an attempt of several terrorists to penetrate into Syria from the northern part of the neighbouring country Lebanon.

In addition, the battles in Homs are ongoing, but they carefully carried out with targeted military operations by the army. The Syrian forces located near or in the Syrian province of Idlib (Idleb) either protect some important supply routes / highways or try to gain more ground in Syria’s Idlib. The situation in northern Syria is still bad, especially the fighting between the Syrian Kurds and the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot has increased and even extended on the north-west of Syria. After the alleged massacre against over 450 Kurdish civilians, including 120 children, by the Al-Qaeda fighters in northern Syria, one hopes that the Syrian Kurds with the help of other forces are able to eliminate such violent, inhuman criminals soon.

Sadly, the Turkish leading party, led by Prime Minister Erdogan, seems to partly support the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch (al-Nusra Front) in their criminal acts against the Syrian and Kurdish civilians in northern Syria and especially in the battles near or on the Syrian-Turkish border.

Update: There is new information about the alleged massacre against the Syrian Kurds by the Al-Qaeda jihadists in northern Syria as well as about the video that alleged shows how jihadists set three Kurds on fire. While there is no media update about both stories at the sources we have relied on in the report, it seems that al-Alam was not correct in the report about the massacre on so many Kurds and that Press TV took the information and published the reports without a complete clarifying the given information. The video of the burning of three alleged Kurdish persons is said to be about eight years old and from Iraq. Press TV will probably update their information, hopefully.

The alleged massacre against so many Kurds in northern Syria was denied by the spokesman of the PYD (Kurdish Democratic Union Party) in a recent interview. The spokesman of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), the main Syrian Kurdish political party (established in 2003), said in this statement that the beginning of their battles against the Jihadists in northern Syria, about 70 Kurdish civilians were killed and 400 kidnapped by the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch, the Jabhat al-Nusra.

While we are sorry to have relied on such partly false information by al-Alam in the reporting about this massacre against so many Kurds, it is a good news that this gruesome massacre has allegedly not really taken place, although the kidnapping of about 400 Kurdish people is also bad news. So or so, we hope the best for the Syrians and all the Syrian Kurds.
