More teachers in the U.S. are embracing “flipped classrooms” and are bringing to schools digital tablets and laptop computers to create the 21st century classroom — but how does the U.S. compare in effective use of technology in education to other countries?

A new survey from Dell took a look at education technology in the U.S. and in China, and found that the U.S. can learn a thing or two from our foreign educators and students.

Among the findings:

  • China is more likely to integrate technology into all curriculum areas.
  • Chinese students spend more time using technology in school than American students.
  • Chinese students say their teachers are more tech savvy than they are.
