The implosion of Rick Perry’s presidential campaign has opened the door for Congressman Ron Paul to move up into second place and go head to head with Mitt Romney – that the prediction from The Hill, one of Washington’s most respected political newspapers.

Fed

Alex Jones explained why the momentum behind Ron Paul’s campaign has him firmly challenging as a top tier candidate on the Sunday show, and it’s a view increasingly being acknowledged by even mainstream political commentators.

Writing for The Hill, Capitol Hill’s most widely circulated newspaper, Brent Budowsky sounds the death knell for Rick Perry’s campaign.

“I wrote in August that Rick Perry will self- destruct within 30 days. His prospects for the presidency were as phony as the fantasy of a two-person race was false. Perry is a phony conservative who is not conservative. He is a pay-for-play politician who gobbled up Obama stimulus like a hound dog eating a bone, and created oceans of new government jobs in Texas while his big donors mysteriously received big government contracts. The Texas deficit ballooned and the Texas jobless rate doubled on Rick Perry’s watch,” writes Budowsky.

“I will not speculate about the reasons for Rick Perry’ s strange, weird and incoherent debate performance. Major new negative stories about Perry will soon emerge in the media. Trust me. Perry will drop out long before the year ends. If he dropped out today Ron Paul could well be in second place. Will pundits say it is a two-man race between Romney and Paul?”

As we have documented, the only thing standing between Paul and Romney is an admitted establishment media strategy to ignore the very existence of the Congressman’s campaign. Now that this hoax is quickly dissolving, Paul is set to be provided with the perfect platform from which to launch an assault on Romney’s lead in the national polls.

An an establishment RINO Republican, someone who has pushed big government policies equally as horrendous as anything Obama ever did, Romney’s chances of defeating the President are negligible. If he wins the Republican candidacy, Romney will only energize the hordes of Obamanoids to re-emerge and return Obama to the White House.

The same goes for Sarah Palin if she ever gets around to throwing her hat in the ring. Even aside from damaging recent revelations about her private life, Obama’s slick talk would absolutely cream Palin in the presidential debates and she would become a nationwide laughing stock overnight.

Polls have shown that while establishment Republicans have all lost popular approval at a similar pace to Obama, Ron Paul already has the numbers to be within striking distance of defeating Obama in a head to head run off – and that’s before he’s even been afforded one half of the national platform the media has bestowed upon Perry and Romney.

Once Ron Paul’s message is allowed to be heard, he will absolutely trounce Obama.

Only Ron Paul offers enough of an alternative to four more years of Obama to give the Republicans a chance of any success in 2012. Only Ron Paul’s solutions for returning America to sound money principles can begin to reverse decades of Republicans and Democrats allowing the nation’s economic base to be disastrously undermined.

  1. Can someone explain to me why we allow the “Parties” pick anything? Let alone let the candidates pick the VPresident? The 12th amendment of the Constitution says nothing of them being grouped together by parties or “Running Mates.” I ask this because they keep asking them this question in the debates. “Who would you pick – who would you pick? The American people through the Electoral College are supposed to pick. Is this an abuse against the American people?

  2. Mark my words….after Perry withdraws, Christie will enter….there are already hints of this in the MSM!

  3. Don’t much about the Kim Kardashian phenomena but they say it was her mom who is behind the family media-exposed fortune.

I like to compare the Sarah Palin breakout in the same showy light: much glow and little know.

She was inserted in 2008 to revv up the TV factor. Her own ambition and media buzz keeps her little motor chugging along on about 3 cylindars. Enough said. Borrrrringgg!

I hope Perry is finished, but that is wishful thinking if the PTB want him. An alternative being batted around is NJ gov, Chris Christie. Christie gets good press; he likes to drop a few minor expletives into his chatter–’damn’ or ‘hell’–to appear tough and decisive. He is using his governorship as a launching pad for bigger ambitions. Currently, he is on a cross-country mission to ramp up excitement for GOP candidates.

Then there is old JEBBI, of the Bush tribe, who some are scoping out if the current crop of GOP hopefuls get bogged down piercing each other’s veneer. My worst nightmare would be Bush/Christie.
All things considered, “The Biggest Loser” might be a more valuable destination than the White House.

  4. In a HEAD to HEAD DEBATE . . . RON PAUL will “TAKE ROMNEY APART”, like the CHEAP SUIT, he is . . . It “WOULDN’T” even be CLOSE. Like I’ve BEEN SAYING, a while now . . . “Its COMING AROUND”. The BEST PART is the “TIMING” . . . were approaching the PRIMARIES, after what he has DONE so far in the debates, its only going to get “BETTER” from here. “RON PAUL” 2012 “V” for VICTORY . . the REPUBLIC “WILL” prevail. . . . there it is.

  5. If Rick Scary is destroyed, that means we destroyed a Bilderberg candidate before election. (Before they destroy themselves) Has that ever even happened before?

  6. Alex just aired the Fox News Sunday clip talking about Perry’s imploding campaign. That was Brit Hume, then that creepy mouse Chris Wallace starts saying Republicans want “somebody, anybody” to enter the race. Fox, run behind the scenes by slime like Karl Rove, are actually setting us up for whomever Rove is maneuvering to “get in”. We are so manipulated.

  7. Even together these guys would make a great team

This is the real story that the media is not and cannot report on. Here’s what Obama, Osama, Biden, Bin Laden, the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, and Sarah Palin had to do with the last election and the military’s overthrow of our government. Search PalinsDirtyLittleSecret.blogspot and learn why Sarah Palin really is a national hero.

    • I am tired of seeing you post your crappy website here. I read it, it sucked, and WHO CARES? By the time I was done reading it, it was unconvincing. Nibriu is more believable then your spam and I don’t believe in Nibiru.

  8. I guess we won’t have Rick Perry to kick around any more

His entire media hoopla was ridiculous. They tried to anoint him without the proper “vetting”. Watch out, though, the media have other darlings they will try to trot out — Chris Christie, Sarah Palin (no, they don’t want her to win, just to get into the circus and be a “front runner”), even Bloomberg or God forbid Trump may stick his nose in again. They will do anything to keep Ron Paul out of the spotlight. Anything.

  9. Please donate $ to Ron Paul’s campaign, a little or a lot, whatever you can. $ is the universal language. MSM can’t ignore $. He needs a flow of $ until election day. My new slogan: “Ron Paul Or Not At All.”

  10. WHY AREN`T THYE TALKING ABOUT THE OCCUPY WALL STREET PROTEST that has been going on since Sept 17th?????????????????????????????????????
    ????????????????????????????????
    ?????????????????????????????

    • There’s been an article here and an article there. It’s really not turning out to be much of protest though.

  11. Um, the thing about Palin is that polls just last week showed she would defeat Obama if the elections were held last week.

Now you can jump on her all you want. Call her a dimwit, a phony, inexperienced…whatever you want if you wish to toe the liberal MSM propaganda line. Or you can be a quack and tie her to Soros because her name starts with the same letters as “palindrome”. But make no mistake, she is smarter than Obama, she has more experience than Obama had when he was selected, and she’s got a conservative record and can clearly distinguish her constituents’ agenda from a globalist’s agenda.

    • You are joking, right? You do know that one of her foreign policy advisors is Henry Kissinger, don’t you? She is a water-carrier for the globalists, just like Rick Perry! C’mon….wise up!

      • A. Your point does nothing to refute any of my points, and
        B. Peter Schweizer is Palin’s foreign policy advisor…no links to Kissinger (she met with him once when she was on the McCain ticket).

  12. So Infowars points to an editorial that makes a biased prediction, and reports it as news?

Why would the front-runner for the nomination drop out? That makes no sense. It’s not happening any time soon, no matter how much Infowarriors want it. Same thing with Ron Paul getting nominated. Mainstream GOP voters are not going to nominate Ron Paul.

The whoring for Ron Paul is getting into strange, obsessive areas now.

    • I think strange and obsessive describes your need to post on this site. I know you have free speech and can say what you want but do you really think anyone here cares about your opinions…other than to ridicule you and call you out for the troll you are. You can keep sucking Obama’s toes if you want but your paid position in the department of dis-information will be terminated when the socialist agenda is stopped in it’s tracks. Enjoy what is coming….because it will take a village to support you when your gov. checks dry up!!

  13. Big Brother Media dropped Perry like a used rubber after the last debate. Now they will push Cain and his tax increases. Yes they are Tax increases so don’t buy into them

    Ron Paul Revere!!

  14. There are currently 360,000,000 people living in America. Only about 180,000,000 pay taxes. The rest are on welfare or make too little to pay taxes. About 90,000,000 of those paying taxes are baby boomers who will be retiring in the next 2 to 5 years. So that means that the entire economy will be driven by 90,000,000 people, who are mostly low income / minimum wage earners. So how can this country hope to live on if we elect another establishment candidate? Our only hope is Ron Paul!! He is the only one who can effectively shrink the government, increase jobs and stabilize the monetary system quick enough to stop the literal destruction of this nation. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!! Vote for “The One”….RON PAUL!!!

  15. Rick Perry is all shook up inside, the game is over. These debates keep getting worse and worse and the establishments horse just got a broken leg, he is out of the race. The Texas Queen is fading fast. One NWO frontman down, two more to go until Ron Paul reaches the White House!

    • Someone should do a video of Elvis singing “All Shook Up” with Perry’s head imposed on his body!

  16. Rick Perry does need to drop out, the fake political whore that he is shows just how weak of a foundation that the establishment is on. The establishment is crumbling from within.

Ron Paul is one of the top 2 candidates for the GOP! The corporate media whores need to realize it!

    • “One of the top 2?” No, he is the ONLY one. If everybody votes for him, and he’s not elected, then everybody will know without a shadow of a doubt that something is really wrong. Or they’ll say “oh well” and go back to their american idol. In which case we are truly fucked

  17. Paul could be the only one running for POTUS and the useless MSM would report that no one has been found to have interest in the job!

  18. All the nay sayers will be surprised when Paul wins!

  19. …it wasn’t hard to see that Perry was unqualified for the job. He talked like he had marbles in his mouth and couldn’t articulate himself well enough in a debate. The race will be interesting.

    • I thought he played the McCain part well…..
