The People Who Organized the “Occupied Wall Street Journal” Newspaper

The Occupy Wall Street Movement now  has a newspaper called “The Occupied Wall Street Journal”.  Supposedly the money for it was raised online and the first issue printed 50,000 copies.

The first page of it featured a beautiful woman holding a tambourine, displayed to the reader in typical Madison Avenue eye-catching style along with basic articles about the occupation, the most interesting being, “Occupation for dummies…How it came about, what it means, how it works”.

Attempting to answer some basic questions about the protests the article includes the following excerpts:

What are the demands of the protesters?

“Ugh‚ the zillion-dollar question. Again, the original Adbusters call asked, “What is our one demand?” Technically, there isn’t one yet. In the weeks leading up to Sept.17, the NYC General Assembly seemed to be veering away from the language of “demands” in the first place, largely because government institutions are already so shot through with corporate money that making specific demands would be pointless until the movement grew stronger politically.  Instead, to begin with, they opted to make their demand the occupation itself—and the direct democracy taking place there—which in turn may or may not come up with some specific demand. When you think about it, this act is actually a pretty powerful statement against the corruption that Wall Street has come to represent. But since thinking is often too much to ask of the American mass media, the question of demands has turned into a massive PR challenge. The General Assembly is currently in the midst of determining how it will come to consensus about unifying demands. It’s a really messy and interesting discussion. But don’t hold your breath.”

Also…

What would a “win” look like for the occupation?

  • A d v e r t i s e m e n t

“Again, that depends on whom you ask. As Sept. 17 approached, the NYC General Assembly really saw its goal, again, not so much as to pass some piece of legislation or start a revolution as to build a new kind of movement. It wanted to foment similar assemblies around the city and around the world, which would be a new basis for political organizing in this country, against the over-whelming influence of corporate money. That is starting to happen, as similar occupations are cropping up in dozens of other cities. I’ve heard some people saying, when Liberty Plaza was swamped with TV news cameras, “We’ve already won!” Others think they’ve hardly begun. Both, in some sense, are true.”

So in other words “What do we want?!  (Fill in the blank).”

While this particular article is vague on demands, the Declaration of the General Assembly on the page before it lists every liberal cause under the sun as a grievance.

Despite the paper’s obscure articles, the men credited for organizing the paper– Arun Gupta and Jed Brandt in the past have been quite outspoken regarding their own beliefs on what needs to change in America.

Arun Gupta is an activist and writer.  He is the is a founding editor of The Indypendent newspaper.  In this episode of RT’s Cross Talk (not sure when it was broadcast but it was uploaded to YouTube on September 26th) that asks whether or not capitalism is dead,  he argues that capitalism led the United States and the world to its current economic state against others on the panel who point out that it wasn’t capitalism but corporatism that led to the bailouts…a result of big government picking winners and losers.

Jed Brandt is a writer, photographer, and artist whose work has appeared in The Indypendent.  He is also part of the Kasama Project, which according to its own website “is a communist project for the forcible overthrow and transformation of all existing social conditions.”

On the Kasama Project web site’s  “About” page, under the headline “REVOLUTION: rethinking the unthinkable” it states:

“We intend to identify those fault lines where radical thought and action can emerge. We want to go deeply among the people to prepare minds and organize forces for revolution; for a global transformation of human life; for the urgent rescue of the biosphere from capitalist destruction; for the radical dismantling of the U. S. empire – its military, its nuclear weapons and torture camps; for the uprooting of intolerable racial inequalities and the archaic brutalities of male supremacy; for the final liberation of humanity from the restless, soulless rule of capitalist profit making!”

This clip of Brandt is from last year.

Though people like these two individuals do not represent the majority of Americans who are justifiably outraged at government corruption and the theft of taxpayer money, people like them are being thrust to the forefront of the ‘Occupy’ protests in the media’s attempt to represent the latest demonstrations of American anger as anti-capitalist.  In the past, the scale of right vs. left has been one that has featured those who believed the government should keep its hands off the free market on the right, and those who reasonably believed in private property and economic freedom but also in their perception of social responsibility and government safeguards on the left.  With much of the media coming out in general support of this increasingly radical steered movement, the left bookend has been shifted dangerously closer to an area our grandparents who fought against communism and its deplorable effects on humanity would have never believed our country would seriously venture into.  The American people need to stand up  now, reclaim their anger, and claim these protests back in the name of reasonable people again, seeking not the end of capitalism and the free market, but the end of the Federal Reserve as the first step towards real recovery.

Otherwise mad men will continue to fill the void.

  1. It’s the same people that organized the election of Obama.

You would be shocked to learn how many stories in the news are completely made up. Did you know that you’re considered an enemy of the state when you catch the government breaking endless laws? It’s true. They work night and day to either get something on you or make up stuff until they can get you to cooperate (or shut up.)

Why would I be considered an enemy of the state? Because I know Sarah Palin’s real identity and how she was created to take on Obama and the media. Exercise your Constitutional right to free speech and freedom of press. Search PalinsDirtyLittleSecret.blogspot and learn what the government is desperately trying to stop from leaking.

  2. The First Four Seals of Revelation

In the book of Revelation there is a sequence of seven seals.

The first four seals identify major world events that will take place before the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation is the last 3 ½ years of this age. Seals five and six will take place during the Great Tribulation. The seventh seal marks the opening of the Book of Life (the Scroll) in preparation for Christ’s return and gathering of His Elect, the Church.

The first four seals correspond to “the beginning of birth pains” which will start the final generation leading to His Second Coming and His Kingdom on earth. Christ said,

Ethnic group will rise against ethnic group, and government against government. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains (Matthew 24:7-8).

The first four (Seals 1, 2, 3, and 4), aka “the beginning of birth pains,” will lead into the last three Seals (5, 6 and 7) which will span the Great Tribulation.

The first seals are early warning signs. They reveal to God’s people that the “Time of the End” has come and alerts them to what will soon take place so they know when and where these crises will strike.

Before we examine the first four seals, let’s understand what Scripture reveals about the “horse and rider” and the “four colored horses.” Remember that God has given this information to His people so they will be able to understand what is taking place.

First, what does “horse and rider” symbolize?

Scripture says this about “horse and rider.”

Moses and the Israelites sang this song: ‘I will sing to YAHWEH, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea. … Pharaoh and his army he has hurled into the sea.’ (Exodus 15:1-4)

In Scripture the Horse represents an Army. Horse = Army

The Rider represents a Leader of an army. Rider = Leader

Second, what do the “four colored horses” of Revelation symbolize?

    1. White horse 2. Red horse 3. Black horse 4. Pale horse

There’s only one other place in Scripture which describes four colored horses and they appear similar to the four in Revelation. We should also note that there are significant similarities between the prophesies of Zechariah and Revelation.

Scripture says this about the “four colored horses.”

The first chariot had red horses, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled–all of them powerful. I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?” The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.” 7 When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth. (Zechariah 6:2-7)

The four colored horses have been assigned to go throughout the earth. Since all prophecy is written from the perspective of Jerusalem, the horses where assigned in relation to Jerusalem.

    1. White – the West

    2. Red – the East

    3. Black – the North

    4. Pale – the South

Now, let’s look at the Four Horses and their Riders. After each prophecy my interpretation is presented for your consideration.

First Seal of Revelation – Completely Fulfilled Prophecy

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest (Revelation 6:2).

When the first seal was opened on 911 in 2001, George W. Bush was the President and Commander-in-Chief of the United States Army (he held a bow). The “bow” may be a reference to the “bow” in Habakkuk 3:8-9 which also mentions that God rode out with His “horses” another connection to the Time of the End.

In 2004 he was reelected President, (he was given a crown).

After 911 he declared war on terror and invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003, (he rode out as a conqueror.)

For the Remainder of his Presidency he was committed to the War on Terror, (he was bent on conquest.)

The White Horse of Revelation 6 symbolizes the USA and her Military.

The Rider on the White Hose symbolizes the US leader, George W. Bush.

Second Seal of Revelation – Red Horse – next to be fulfilled – 2010 0r 2011?

When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword (Revelation 6:3-4).

When the second seal is opened (red horse) Iran will initiate a conflict with the United States which will lead to World War 3. The President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be given a Great Battle.

I believe that Iran is the country in question because of a prophecy in Jeremiah.

Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields (prepare for war)! YAHWEH has stirred up the kings of the Medes (leaders of IRAN), because his purpose is to destroy Babylon (USA). YAHWEH will take vengeance, vengeance for his temple. Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! YAHWEH will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon. You who live by many waters and are rich in treasures, your end has come, the time for you to be cut off. (Jeremiah 51:11-13)

Third Seal of Revelation – Black Horse – Future

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” (Revelation 6:5-6)

When the third seal is opened, (black horse), Russia will attack the US (with an alliance of nations, see Jeremiah 50-51) and damage grain production (US and Canada) to the extent that it will take a day’s wages to buy a day’s wheat or barley. But certain areas of the world, that produce wine and oil, will not be damaged.

Fourth Seal of Revelation – Pale Horse – Future

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth* to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:7-8).

When the fourth seal is opened (pale horse), Egypt will engage the Antichrist in battle which will plunge the region into catastrophic levels of death from war, famine, pandemics and wild beasts of the earth.

Daniel 11 mentions both the defeat of the mightiest fortresses and then Egypt engaging the antichrist as we see here.

He (Antichrist) will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price. “At the time of the end the king of the South (Egypt) will engage him in battle, and the king of the North (Antichrist) will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. He will also invade the Beautiful Land (Israel). Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon (Jordon) will be delivered from his hand. He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Nubians (Sudan) in submission. (Daniel 11:39-43)

Egypt, Libya and Sudan in submission corresponds to the 3 horns which the Antichrist subdues mentioned in Daniel 7.

He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. (Daniel 7:23-24)

    * Note that after the death toll resulting from the previous seals, Africa which is currently about 13% of the world population may then make up a fourth (25%) of the earth’s population.

The First Seal is open, we must now be watching for the events leading to the Second Seal.

    Therefore, keep watch!

  3. substitute DIRECT DEMOCRACY with DIRECT BRAINWASHING, and you’re spot on – obviously “occupation FOR DUMMIES” is exactly what they think the crowd is – DUMMIES TO BE INDOCTRINATED AND STEERED.

  4. In response to the second video:
Wow the solution is communism or socialism? Yes people have rights, but there is no right to anything FREE, wake up to how we are NOT a free market or have a FREE COUNTRY. You have the RIGHT to obtain a job (bring our jobs back), healthcare (legalize marijuana), etc.

So in other words “What do we want?! (Fill in the blank).”

I believe I’ve outlined that on my blog. If you want to interview me, you know how to get a hold of me.

Remember: people helping people is powerful stuff, lets keep it in our power!

  6. Communist ideology differs from Socialism, in that, the state owns and controls all property and means of producing goods and all the funds made from production, the workers do not have a say in or control over the means of production. This is done by unelected bureaucrats….central planning. Under this system you get what the state… the dictator says you get. There’s no negotiating. In Socialism, there is still private property and privately owned companies that produce goods, but, there are excessive taxes to fund socialist programs, “from each according to their abilities to each according to their needs” is something that is applied to communism, but it could be applied to socialism as well.
Communism is a flawed economic system in that it cannot explain, adequately, how wealth is created. Under communism there is little incentive for an inventor to invent items that improves life. Under communism, the state would own your ideas. Under true capitalism, that isn’t corrupted, the inventor is rewarded financially for his or her’s idea’s.
The overwhelming majority of inventions in the 20th century, that greatly improved society happened under a capitalist system. A communist system would have never done this.
America’s capitalist system got greatly corrupted, in 1913, by a central bank…the Federal Reserve, this is economic central planning and a graduated income tax. Two planks out of the communist manifesto.
Communism is a greatly flawed economic system that has been romanticized by propaganda.

    • Good synopsis. I got this from American Heritage New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy, Third Edition:

      Socialism:
An economic system in which the production and distribution of goods are controlled substantially by the government rather than by private enterprise, and in which cooperation rather than competition guides economic activity. There are many varieties of socialism. Some socialists tolerate capitalism, as long as the government maintains the dominant influence over the economy; others insist on an abolition of private enterprise. All communists are socialists, but not all socialists are communists.

      Communism:
An economic and social system envisioned by the nineteenth-century German scholar Karl Marx. In theory, under communism, all means of production are owned in common, rather than by individuals (see Marxism and Marxism-Leninism). In practice, a single authoritarian party controls both the political and economic systems. In the twentieth century, communism was associated with the economic and political systems of China and the Soviet Union and of the satellites of the Soviet Union.

      Capitalism:
An economic and political system characterized by a free market for goods and services and private control of production and consumption.

  7. People here trying to argue about this article and keep saying Democracy, no wonder why we’re in such bad shape here, people don’t know our Constitution. The United States is a REPUBLIC!

“And to the Republic for which it stands” can you guess where that line is from?

  8. This is an appeal to all those in OWS to come across the hudson river and help to demonstrate against the Goldman Sachs Headquarters near exchange place. There are no numbers here to address this most heinous villainy to the people. 5 minutes away from you all is the “real” castle of Dracula.

  9. The undeniable bottom line is that OWS has been COINTELPRO from day 1.

Once you understand that, you understand the financial power behind it and the danger of it.

Going there to “awaken” the zombies will only make their numbers look larger and their cause appear more popular. Going there may also put you unwittingly in a patsy position. We all know they want to blame a major terrorist attack on a right wing extremist. What better atmosphere to stage a false flag?

    • Perfect!

  10. How exactly does ending the Fed stop outsourcing?

How exactly does ending the Fed stop massive third world immigration?

How exactly does ending the Fed create jobs? Crickets.

Infowars proves itself to be silly by rejecting nationalism. That’s why they are with the globalists despite what they say. Whites should vote with their feet against Infowars and just use it as a news source. Let Infowars join the multiracial horde sponsored by the globalists. It suits them well.

    • Yet another neo-Nazi.

The Fed is the primary controller in this country. Cut off the head and the rest will be easier to deal with.

What race are you? I know, the RIGHT race. The superior race. Most of the NWO Luciferians are white. Are you one of them?

      • I disagree with most of what salad man has to say…

        But those are good questions?

Even an article yesterday address how the Occupy Wall Street has taken on non priority issues.

Nobody can actually expect that by eliminating Wall St. and the Fed. Reserve it’ll solve all the world’s problems.

Slow down before reacting so fast.

      • Whenever whites stand up for themselves or show concerns for their people and do not sign on to globalist univeralism, we’re called Nazis.

If you are a Ron Paul supporter, did you know that if you vote for Ron Paul you’re getting libertarianism which means….

        No more government affirmative action.

Businesses will have the right to discriminate against whome they hire or allow in their establishments.

No more government coercian to promote harmony among the races.

Nor more section 8 housing or affirmative action.

No more welfare for the hordes of third worlders (and first worlders too).

That’s why I like Ron Paul.

Freedom for racists to be racists will be guaranteed under a Paul Presidency. Ron Paul might harbor racist views himself anyway, but he keeps them to himself. Like many Doctors do.

        Go Ron Paul!

    • I think the point is to begin transferring ownership of the government back to the people.

The Federal Reserve literally bought the US federal government in 1913. As long as they own our government, our sovereignty is a myth…and so is constitutional government.

  11. I want to offer an insight that I believe might help some of you folks who are hellbent on hating the Left. I think that the Left/Right divide, which has kept Populism out of power ever since the 1896 election, at least, has its roots in the divide between rural and urban America. Of course, that divide is more cultural now than it used to be, now that most people live in urban areas, and there are fewer and fewer small farms, but at one time it was very real.

Can you see how it makes sense for a rural person to emphasize things like individuality and personal responsibility more, and how it ALSO makes sense for an urban person to emphasize things like social responsibility and group identity more? IT IS A DIFFERENCE OF PERSPECTIVE. It doesn’t mean that we are forever locked in mortal combat against each other. It means that we have different insights that we could actually SHARE with each other.

You can learn from us. We can learn from you. We each have one side of a whole picture. If we put those sides together, we BOTH have a more complete perspective.

    • Maybe you need your own Column?

    • The left/right paradigm is used by the elite to divide us and make people think they live in a free country.

      • Out of chaos comes order… the majority vote.

        It’s the Islamic totalitarian way.

    • There you go with that “SHARE”, communism BS!

After saying: “emphasize things like individuality and personal responsibility” AND “how it ALSO makes sense for an urban person to emphasize things like social responsibility and group identity more”

      You are TOTALLY INSANE!

If you are to “group” me, know I AM FOR TRUTH AND FREEDOM……
MY FREEDOM CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE “SHARED”!

    • NO SUCH THING AS LEFT AND RIGHT PEOPLE – IT’S A LIE TO MAKE US THINK WE HAVE ANY SAY IN ANYTHING. PLEASE HEAR THIS! Maaaan

      • OK… we can call it either… “right and wrong” or “righteousness and sin”… or even the “majority and the minority”…

        Whichever…

Kinda like… Should gays be allowed to vote? Should sex education be taught in schools? Should alcoholics take Communion? Should seat belts be mandatory?

Should TARP funds bail out banks that were forced to make loans by the government? Should governments be allowed to flood poverty stricken ghettos in order to save the rich folks homes? Should government be allowed to confiscate guns? Should government be allowed to break down front doors and place children in foster care?

If a law was written that says that payment in a dowry for marriage is allowed for one hour to have sex… is that still prostitution?

The question is… what is right, what is wrong… what is left and what is right?

  12. A nice revelatory, civil RT discussion as compared to the vitriolic drivel effused by Bill O’Reilly. One of his more recent embroilments: Tavis Smiley and Cornel West, an appropriate tag team. But supports one of my earlier points, people have to have the information…the documents, otherwise the debate becomes inane. Occupy Wall Street? Why? Kick in the door of the apparatus and let the investigations and the prosecutions begin. That’s what you do. That is, if you’re serious. Or, occupy a bar stool where a least there would be an accomplishment of some kind, inebriation. That’s where I am at, I have to dull the mind to watch the nonsense. The apparatus, the Network, has no angst or trepidation because of an ingathering of of human-microphoning, tambourine tapping, bobble heads, smiling for the cameras. (con’t)

    • Don’t forget body painting. =)

  13. It’s really simple, folks. You can go on hating the Left, and go down under the jackboots of the NWO, or you can put aside the hate that is little more than a HABIT, and stand with your fellow citizens who happen to see things a little differently, but fundamentally want a better world for future generations, just like you do.

Believe me, I’ve seen this same wicked, hissing, spitting, threatening, blind hate from the folks on the Left at the Tea Party movement that you are now choosing to display towards the OWS movement. It’s all the most wicked folly, on both sides. It’s playing right into the globalists’ hands.

    • I agree if we allow the media to divide us on petty issues were all gonna fall. Some of the OWS people need some education on the historic ideals of America but it is not impossible.

      • You are ALREADY DIVIDED if you beLIEve communism is GOOD!

        I’m GLAD we are DIVIDED!

        • yeah, You are ALREADY DIVIDED if you beLIEve communism is GOOD!
(when we live America which is a Republic, standing for Liberty or Freedom)!

        • if you don’t like America and freedom, then go to communist china.

you end the federal reserve which has the power to OUTSOURCE your jobs. They ahve the power to not impose tariffs on imports, they have the power to lobby against their competitors (like hemp) which kills jobs, they have the power to install an income tax, which is stealing money from you and going into the corporation (NOT government), when we are taxed enough at the state and local level which is where the government and our jobs should be.

that is why you end the federal reserve.

    • Take a look at Cultural /Marxism imposition on the West no one asked for it. Not very democratic is it? Look at the Frankfurt school conspiracy? no Reality as it Corrupted the west enough to undermine all its institutions and culture, not very free and democratic is it? No one asked for it..So you see communism is just an extension of this tyranny by stealth which as been accelerated by the globalists/corporatism who welcome com -u- nihilism .. as the left are well known to be fuel for and aiders and abetters of all this..culturecide and genocide .

    • This will be the last “comment” I ever make to you!

ANYBODY whether Left, Right, Jackboot, NWO or YOU try to TAKE what I CREATE will find themselves WORM FOOD!

Ron Paul’s TEA PARTY, not the co-opted tea party, is for nothing but TRUTH AND FREEDOM, which is something you have not a single inkling of KNOWLEDGE about!

Jackboots are what will stomp YOUR head when, and if, you find “UTOPIA” in the socialist/communist distortion of your false IDEALS and REALITY!

      Enjoy those “jackboots”!

    • So lets see you don’t support private property rights, you support big govt and you’re very vague about WHICH govt regulations are appropriate and WHICH ones are not! No specifics needed riiiiiight? You’re just a big govt supporting, communist that does not support Americans right to own private property, you likely support the continuation of a heavy progressive income tax (That’s a communist manifesto plank but was put forth as policy by the private central bankers, who also financed the communist movements around the world at the turn of the 20th century).

If you think I am going to stand in support of communist ideals then keeping dreaming big govt supporting, nanny state hater of private property rights fool!
I can take a wild guess and suspect you hate the 2nd amendment also (Can’t have a armed populace to defend themselves against the communist collectivist) such as the tragedy that befell the Ukrainians at the hands of the communist collectivists who wanted to steal private property from the farmers.

Last I read over 100 MILLION Ukrainians and Russians died at the hands of the communist collectivists and Mao a Chinese communist collectivist murdered millions more Chinese. I guess they did not want to give up their private property to the communist collectivist govt.
You communist brain washed morons don’t get the fact that your way of doing economics comes right out of the policy of the US and Western European banking houses as a way to control you! Be damm If I am going to go along with more of that control policy! The fact is the reason why the economy is fucked up is directly linked to ever increasing govt intrusion in to the free market on the part of their private central banking financiers!
Who do you fools think came up with the idea of a progressive income tax? You fools actually think it was a policy idea thought up by a bunch of young activists back at the turn of the 20th century? No it was not if you had not actually read the history books! You buddies the private central bankers are the ones who financed your communist movement and the ideas of snatching private property and income taxes. Who do you think actually benefits from that policy? You?
Communists nor the private central bankers who have been supporting their movement for the last 100 years believe in the ownership of private property other than their own which they hide is offshore accounts!
I own private property. I work my own garden. I own 2 milk cows and a mess of chickens. Be damm if you think I will allow the govt to snatch my property to benefit the communist collective good!
Some advice to communist collectivists! Go start a business and spill out the worry and sweat and sleepless nights where you worry how you going to keep your dream afloat! Try working 20 hour days 7 days a week to get that PRIVATE business prospering! Hey communist collectivists why are you not protesting the govt screwing with GIBSON guitars over complete bullshit. In a communist collectivist world there wouldn’t have been anybody willing to put their balls on the line to start a tech company! I am trying to remember the last time a communist collectivists created jobs for workers other than pressing for my increases more and more laws to be passed or govt regulation which in turn increases the need for more govt employees to enforce the hundreds of thousands of govt regulations on the books!

So in closing if you are demanding that Freedom loving patriots who 100% support private property and the “Bill Of Rights” to put their long held solid ideals aside to push MORE collectivism, then keep dreaming fool!
I will NOT support the Global private central bankers long held plan of collectivism…..period!

  14. Try to find one article in there about Ending The Fed or Ron Paul. They just meander through Manhattan with no real list of demands. You know even a 12 year old could put together a list of demands and protest about it. These people are part of a larger collective who plan to occupy Wall Street with discontent. What has been accomplished so far? Just asking very sincerely. Who planned their protest route, George Soros?

  15. “The Pilgrims’ Short Lived Experiment in Communism”

“Many have credited Karl Marx with inventing what we now know as communism in the middle of the 19th century. The concept of communal living and dependence, however, came long before The Communist Manifesto. Over the centuries, the concept has been applied by different people in different places. While the reasons for applying the communal approach varied as widely as the people who attempted it, one thing did remain constant: failure. From Roman latifundiae to the Soviet Union, communism time and again proved the failure inherent in its concept. Americans do not need to look to distant lands and little known peoples for evidence of the failure of communism. They simply need to look back at one of the most celebrated groups of people in their history: the Pilgrims.

As most educated Americans know, Puritan Separatists, or Pilgrims, landed in Massachusetts in 1620. What many don’t realize is that the original economic system of their colony, Plymouth Plantation, was a form of communism. There was neither private property nor division of labor. Food was grown for the town and distributed equally amongst all. The women who washed clothes and dressed meat did so for everyone and not just for their own families. This sounds like the perfect agrarian utopia envisioned by Marx and Lenin. What happened to it? To find the answer to that question, one must turn to Of Plymouth Plantation by William Bradford. Bradford served as Governor of Plymouth Colony from 1620 to 1647 and chronicled in great detail everything that happened in the colony.

By 1623, it was obvious the colony was barely producing enough corn to keep everyone alive. Fresh supplies from England were few and far between. Without some major change, the colony would face famine again. In his chronicle, Bradford described what was going wrong and how it was solved (pardon the King James English):

‘All this while no supply was heard of, neither knew they when they might expect any. So they began to think how they might raise as much corn as they could, and obtain a better crop than they had done, that they might not still thus languish in misery. At length, after much debate of things, the Governor (with the advise of the chiefest among them) gave way that they should set corn every man for his own particular, and in that regard trust to themselves; in all other things to go in the general way as before. And so assigned to every family a parcel of land, according to the proportion of the number, for that end, only for present use (but made no division for inheritance) and ranged all boys and youth under some family. This had very good success, for it made all hands industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been by any means the Governor or any other could use, and saved him a great deal of trouble, and gave far better content. The women now went willingly into the field, and took their little ones with them to set corn; which before would allege weakness and inability; whom to have compelled would have been thought great tyranny and oppression.’

With weak crops and little hope of supply, the Pilgrims divided the parcels among the families and told them to grow their own food. They found that those who would pretend they couldn’t work due to infirmity, weakness or inability (sound familiar?) gladly went to work in the fields. Corn production increased dramatically and famine was averted because communism was eliminated. Bradford’s account doesn’t end here; he goes on to describe why he believed the communal system failed. Understanding the reasons for the failure is just as important, if not more important, than learning about the failure itself. Governor Bradford wrote:

‘The experience that was had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanity of that conceit of Plato’s and other ancients applauded by some of later times; that the taking away of property and bringing in community into a commonwealth would make them happy and flourishing; as if they were wiser than God. For this community (so far as it was) was found to breed much confusion and discontent and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For the young men, that were most able and fit for labour and service, did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men’s wives and children without any recompense. The strong, or man of parts, had no more division of victuals and clothes than he that was weak and not able to do a quarter than the other could; this was thought injustice. The aged and graver men to be ranked and equalized in labours, victuals, clothes, etc., with the meaner and younger sort, thought it some indignity and disrespect unto them. And for men’s wives to be commanded to do service for other men, as dressing their meat, washing their clothes, etc., they deemed it a kind of slavery, neither could many husbands well brook it.’

The communal system failed because it treated the older and wiser the same way as the young and brash. It failed because it rewarded the less productive as much as the more productive. It failed because members of the community found that they could do less and still get the same benefit. All of these problems arose in a very religious community in which gluttony and laziness were considered sins and drunkenness was rare. How much more would communism fail in a larger society where such problems are rampant! By returning to a system in which the older and wiser are respected, and by reorganizing so that one’s benefit was directly tied to his production, the Pilgrims ensured the survival of their colony. Governor Bradford, however, ultimately attributes the failure of the “common cause” to something much deeper:

‘Upon the point all being to have alike and to do alike, they thought themselves in the like condition, and one as good as another; and so, if it did not cut off those relations that God hath set amongst men, yet it did at least much diminish and take off the mutual respects that should be preserved amongst them. And would have been worse if they had been men of another condition. Let none object this is men’s corruption, and nothing to the course itself. I answer, seeing all men have this corruption in them, God in His wisdom saw another course fitter for them.’

Governor Bradford is basically saying that communism failed because of the corrupt nature of humans. People are imperfect and sinful. The utopia Marx and Lenin dreamed of could only work if it were filled with perfect people- and no such infallible people can be found in this world. Furthermore, the communal system undermines the relations God instituted among men- marriage and family. With husbands growing food for other people’s children, wives washing other men’s clothes, and children doing chores for other families, the basic foundational social unit of society is undermined. Without that, no society can hope to survive.”

    • What we need is balance. Human beings are both social and individual. We INESCAPABLY have a dual nature and we must honor both sides of it. We need a system that has both capitalist and socialist aspects, but most importantly, we need active citizens who are determined that they shall ALL, as much as is possible, be both bosses and servants in a system they create and maintain together. Nothing is perfect, but balance is nearly always better.

      • @Pual,
What you want only works in a perfect world a “Utopia”. The world will never be a utopia and this is why it has failed so many times throughout history. The free market system works best and we must get it back from the corporatists that control our government.

        @Battle Hymn,
        Great post!

      • Advocating the rubric; “What is mine is thine, and what is thine is mine”… communism failed to see that human nature will not keep those two balanced propositions in symmetry.

Like a female black widow spider consuming her mate, the latter part of the formula makes a meal of the former.

In contrast, political systems do well if they can persuade people to adhere to “What’s mine is mine and What’s thine is thine” maxims.

Only if a strong religious incentive is added does such an idealistic formula have any long-term chance. And we can be sure that they want it to work!

Even then success will be like mixing iron with clay. But communism (and Nazism, for that matter) excluded religion. This they recognize now! And that mistake was the final nail eventually clamping the lid on communism’s coffin while still in its infancy.

With that said Islamism meats this criteria hand over foot… and yet the majority are oblivious to it… that in itself should cause red flags to go up…
        ———————————————————————-

        Yes, I agree… Good comment Battle Hymn…

      • then give us our republic back, free market, the bill of rights. We Americans are quite capable of being SOCIAL with a Republic, afterall, being land of the free, we have attracted the most DIVERSITY this world has ever seen. look at hollywood, look at the varioius religions practiced in our country versus others, etc. socalist aspects is a given in society, humanity will ALWAYS socialize with each other, it doesn’t need to be forced by government.

        LIMITED government.

I’m tired of the oppression, i want my Republic back. This country use to be the best in health care, prior to 1913 and the prohibition of marijuana.

  16. Devil’s Night Greeting Cards.

  17. one demand ….END THE FED!

    • Ya know guys – I was thinking about the fact that the demands haven’t really “solidified” yet, but everyone knows there’s something “wrong”, correct? So, here’s what I was thinking. We gotta remember, the general public has been under the mind control of the government, the elite (13 ruling families), and the Vatican for SO LONG, that they are just at a loss as to what the real problem is. Ya gotta remember what it was like when each of us felt when we FINALLY broke out of that mind control. Come on – we all have that “moment” we remember, right? So all these protesters are “just” waking up from the mind control and they’re minds are totally “fuzzy” right now, which is why – they’re AWAKE – but still not in FOCUS – see what I mean?? So GUYS! We gotta HELP THEM!! CALL OUT TO TRUTHERS!! GUYS LET’S GET OUT THERE AND HELP THESE LOST PEOPLE AND HELP TO OPEN THEIR EYES AND SEE WHY THEY’RE OUT THERE!! We need more of us JOINING these people before the MIND CONTROLLERS send their OWN people in there to mess this up! So come on you guys! We need to get out there and help these people see what REALLY needs to happen, so they can convey it to the rest of the world! Now…THAT SAID…do I personally believe this will make even a FRACTIOn of a fraction of difference to the “powers that be” I have listed above?? LOL No. However this is an EXCELLENT tool for us to get the truth out to the masses!! So we need to get out and talk to these protesters and tell them why they’re out there!! Let’s do it guys!! Just my 2 cents.

      • PS – I obviously am not living in a “fantasy world” either – I mean I understand many of these people are either just there because they wanna be like the 60s, or they are honestly just…clueless. LOL BUT – you know there are MANY in these crowds that TRULY do want things fixed, and wanna know what the heck is going on. So we need to be there for the ones who DO truly want to know!

  18. I think that the bottom line remains this: the Left and the Right MUST stand together. If we do this, we can turn the tide against tyranny. If we do not, we will be destroyed. It’s that stark. You all can hate commies and socialists as much as you want, but YOU ARE CUTTING YOUR OWN THROATS when you make this choice. A truly powerful populist movement cannot stand against tyranny without both legs, Left and Right.

    • What you’re really saying is that everyone on the right needs to set their beliefs aside and join you on the left.

Fat chance. The right has compromised to the point of destroying this country. The left has done nothing but become more and more radical, more and more extreme.

I will stand right by your side when you demand freedom (that includes a free market) and smaller government and fewer regulations; and you declare the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution as your guiding documents for self-governance.

      The left’s days are numbered.

      • Really, it’s almost funny to see the horribly onesided arguments that fly around here. You say the Right has compromised. That may be true, but what you utterly fail to see is that the Left has done the same. Neither Left nor Right is happy with the way things are right now, are we?

I’ll agree with you on demanding freedom, including a free market, and I agree on the centrality of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution for our system. WHAT ON EARTH MADE YOU THINK I WOULDN’T AGREE ON THOSE THINGS?!!

I don’t necessarily agree on smaller government or less regulations, except that I agree that in principle, less is more in both those areas. But we might disagree on interpretation. I think some regulation is necessary and helpful, and the more complexly interconnected the world is, the more that’s true. I think, for example, that the nuclear power plant at Fukushima should have been MUCH more heavily regulated. I would think that would be quite obvious, no? I also think that government needs to be big enough to do what it needs to do. You want government to provide a police force, no? Well I want it to provide a strong safety net.

The problem is that you want to have it all YOUR way, right? You want your property protected, and you don’t care if the poor folks who have no property die of starvation. What I say is that if it’s fair to make sure that the starving folks don’t steal your wheat stores, it’s also fair to make sure that they get a share so they can live to. Do you seriously think that government rightfully exists solely to protect those with wealth? I say that it exists to balance the rights and needs of ALL. I think that’s what the Constitution means when it says We The People. That doesn’t just include you and your friends. It includes all of us.

We can and must stand together. But that can happen only if you put aside your hate, and start recognizing that the folks on the other side of the Left Right divide aren’t the ogres you’ve made them out to be.

        • Really? You really want a free market capitalist economy? Your other comments lead me to believe otherwise. A free market cannot exist in a socialist economy by definition.

I also think you make a mistake in assuming more regulations would have made Fukushima any safer. My experience, in a highly regulated industry, is that regulations raise costs drastically, delay innovation, and hinder progress in safety.

I want the poor to prosper, which is exactly why I fight for a free market. Equal opportunity must be enforced in a free market. Equal distribution prevents equal opportunity. Furthermore, charity is not mandatory in a free society. The more a government taxes its people, the less those people donate to charity. Small charities make far more efficient use of funds than large charities, and government beaurocracies waste most of what they take in taxes. It has been true throughout history that the poor enjoy the highest standard of living in capitalist economies. Also, it is incredibly inaccurate and offensive for to assume that I “…don’t care if the poor folks who have no property die of starvation.” That could not be further from the truth!

The government exists to defend our borders, to protect our national sovereignty and our individual liberties, to deliver justice in criminal matters, to ensure a free market with equal opportunity, and to uphold our constitution. It does not exist to defend my personal property. I can do that myself.

I will choose for myself who to stand beside. I will not dance with the devil for the sake of compromise. And my hatred is not for the left, but for the evil behind the NWO agenda.

        • of course you on the left is not happy, because you keep voting for CRAP that makes YOUR life worse and not waking up to what works and that is self responsibility, you know taking care of yourself, but first, you need the freedom to do that from government!

      • great post, pual only makes a THREAT like that because he supports this one world communist government of TYRANNY. no way, not on my clock buddy. This world deserves the spirit of 1776 WORLDWIDE!

I want a one world government of FREEDOM, where there is a limited government ran at the state or local level of each region around the world!

    • Please….PLEASE…OPEN YOUR EYES! There IS no LEFT OR RIGHT people! LOL It’s all a dang LIE! They made that up to make us think we have any kind of say whatsoever in anything! Come on! I am seriously so sick of hearing that!

      • true, both sides don’t get it unless you come over to the side of truth and freedom which can only be if you truly follow Jesus.

    • The elected officials of the so called left and right do indeed stand together when the objective is to screw the American people. I will prove it right now.
The weapons of financial destruction responsible for the 2008 ransom payment (not bailout) were created in 1999 and 2000 by a republican congress (with former Republican Senator Phil Gramm a key player) and former democrat President Clinton.

With Glass-Steagall repealed and credit default swaps unregulated its open season on the assets of the American people. If you want to learn the mechanics of the scam see the documentary “Inside Job” by Charles Ferguson 2010.

      • I’m a bit unknowledgeable of how a CDS can be a problem for the Amercian people… can you explain where your thoughts are on this?

  19. The commies have landed.

    ==V==

    • Thank God.

      • tell that to the millions all over eastern europe, including russia.

        • Right. Ok, and how about the millions destroyed in the most horrible ways by the West? It’s easy to make an argument when you only see the evil on one side, and not on the other, isn’t it? The result is onesided, but easy.

        • “It’s easy to make an argument when you only see the evil on one side, and not on the other, isn’t it? ” stfu, commie. the problem for you commies, just like the fascist, is that you don’t like anyone who doesn’t toe your party line. that’s more than obvious. what? i should tickle your testicals and praise communism because capitalism also destroyed millions of lives? fuck you. excuse my french. also, “pual”, try replying so that the reply button is actually displayed.

        • What can I say, Blackgammon? I think the quality of your response is far more eloquent than any riposte from me could be.

        • pual says:

Right. Ok, and how about the millions destroyed in the most horrible ways by the West? It’s easy to make an argument when you only see the evil on one side, and not on the other, isn’t it? The result is onesided, but easy.

it’s called bad intellegience, lies by our leaders and ignorance on our part chasing what we perceive is the enemy or evil when really it’s our leaders and the big corporations (big banks) that are the terrorists WHO ARE killing our country as well for YES, we are targets as well, so wake up.

  20. The answer to one form of tyrannical government, fascism, is not to replace it with another form tyrannical government, communism.

” The iron fist that crushes the tyrants head becomes a tyrant in it’s stead”–William Blake

Fascism and communism are branches of totalitarianism…totalitarianism defined:
    1) centralized control by an autocratic authority…absolute control by the state or a governing branch of a highly centralized institution.
    2) the political concept that the citizen should be totally subject to an absolute state authority…of, relating to, being, or imposing a form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life, the individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed.

To read the horrors of communism I refer you to a book titled… The Black Book of Communism
Videos: The Bloody History of Communism
    Cultural Marxism
Look-Up The Holodomor This is the Ukraine’s holocaust
When Ukraine resisted Soviet attempts at collectivization in the 1920s and ’30s, the Soviet Union under Stalin used labor camps, executions, and starvation (Holodomor) to kill millions of Ukrainians.

    • If you choose to define an ideology by its most vicious example, then sure, it’s gonna look just awful. How one measures the possible value of communism depends on how you define it. If you see communism as an attempt to ensure that workers have more control over the means of production, then it’s hard to say that that is a bad thing, is it? In fact, it’s almost the same thing that most people who praise capitalism want to see.

Now I have not studied Marx as much as I would like – I could say that about any thinker – and I don’t necessarily think that Marx defines communism – but it seems to me that many of Marx’s ideas about class struggle are accurate and helpful means for understanding what goes wrong in society and how to try to correct it. Like all thinkers, including many thinkers on ‘capitalism’, he went to extremes. For one thing, I think he underestimated the power of peaceful persuasion, but I think it’s important to remember that he lived at a time when attempts at reform were routinely, remorselessly crushed with utter brutality.

In the end, communism was twisted, just as capitalism was twisted, by the evil banksters and their cronies, to help bring about their vision of totalitarian control. They have showed a truly evil genius for twisting virtually ANY idea system this way. What we need to do, NOW, is understand this. We need to stop throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Just because virtually every idea system has been twisted by the banksters and fellow conspirators, that doesn’t mean that they are all bad. In fact, it should be obvious that nearly every idea system has PART of the truth, and no one system, including capitalism, has all of it.

      • Communist ideology differs from Socialism, in that, the state owns and controls all property and means of producing goods and all the funds made from production, the workers do not have a say in or control over the means of production.

      • “If you choose to define an ideology by its most vicious example, then sure, it’s gonna look just awful. ”

then educate us on an example that isn’t vicious. can I work more or harder to earn more in a communist state? do i have the freedom to grow or consume my own food and medicine? is marijuana legal?

you need to educate us on how this is good for us.

  21. Why would a freedom-loving person want the government to control everything?

That is exactly what the collectivists demand…that the government controls everything.

    • Exactly correct! When governments own everything they control you and you are not free.

      • Unless we all, as active citizens, participate in and control the government, instead of leaving it up to political mercenaries and ‘experts’.

    • Because the government is something we are ALL part of, that we ALL control. Do you really think that human beings are monads? No, you don’t. None of you who claim to despise all collectivism really think this. We are individuals, but we are ALSO social beings. We need both aspects of ourselves.

      • Nice pipe dream. Try some reality.

60% of the American people were against Obama’s HELLthcare when it was passed. There were 2 million protesters in DC standing against it. Yet it was passed, unconstitutionally.

      • right, we are individuals, not apart of anything collective. What if I don’t agree with what the collective group believes? I’ve dealt with that crap my entire life living as a catholic and thanks to America and freedom, I don’t have to practice it when I don’t want to. i only do it every now and then cause I know it makes my mother happy.

  22. I agree 100%, Radioilluminati.

    • Me too. It doesn’t look very grassroots, does it?

  23. Some of these posts give us insight to what were up against.. I’m referring to the posts that think corporatism, is capitalism.. They’ve gone through the re-education plan for change program.. and the results are in our face………. shouldn’t be long now, before the new world
order kicks off the violence and screams for chaos campaign.. get ready freddy

    • and if it happens, don’t forget the tyranny enforcers get zero respect.. they work for
the terrorists, and must be dealt with

    • But do you recognize that totalitarianism is NOT the same as socialism, or even communism?

      • naaah, communism is an altruistic idea. which ended with deaths for millions. ooops. a hiccup. right?

        • OOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the “plan” all along, wasn’t it!

KILL EVERYONE and keep EVERYTHING for themselves!

  24. Does anyone remember the ‘JFK Today.’

  25. The writing is on the wall.

It is so plain to see.

George Soros started this OWS “revolution”.
He’s duped millions into believing socialism is something other than slavery.
He’s developed a plan for a transition to the NWO.
He has millions of people cheering for the enslavement of mankind.
He has even told us of his intentions.

    Research Otpor
    Research CANVAS
    Research the Arab Spring
Research the Carnegie Council and the CFR

It is so easy to see…

    OWS is COINTELPRO
    OWS is the NWO

  26. The main problem with communism is that everyone becomes equally poor while the communist government goes ahead and begins killion millions of its own people. I dont think that is brotherhood.

    • Marxists are in denial of history.

      Marxists hate the truth.
      Marxists hate history.

And it seems no matter how many times you point out history to them, their answer is always the same: “it’s the 21st century”…as if our world is something new under the sun.

They pay no respect to their elders, nor to wisdom.
They blatantly deny the folly of ignoring history.
They are the epitomy of idiocracy.
      And they stand against freedom.

      • Well said. You and those who agree with you are always right. Anyone with a different idea is ipso facto wrong.

        • Anyone with different ideas is welcome to present their ideas and back them with sound logic and rationale.

    • “begins killion millions of its own people”

The people running communism can take out their ethnic revenge on other ethnic people under the cover of communism.

In the Soviet Union Jews used communism to achieve revenge upon their ethnic enemies…andn they did! That’s part of the reason Jews don’t make movies about the crimes their fellow Jews committed, but make hundreds of ‘holocaust” movies.

Too bad Alex Jones isn’t smart or honest enough to see the ethnic agenda. How will you hold diversity together without a bodyguard of lies?

      • Your logic is tainted with your prejudice. One must not condem or condone a whole group with the actions of a few. There will always be bad apples but, the whole group should not be labeled.

    • Right. If you define communism as ‘what happened in Russia’, then maybe so. That’s about as fair as defining capitalism by what corporatist fascists are doing now.

      • so then shut the fuck about “communism”. lol. nobody is here glorifying capitalism and it’s murderous mascshine, so neither should you pimp communism. mkay? good. cheers.

  27. Commies leave this country now!
    While you still can!

    • Spoken like a true brutalitarian.

      • YES, I LOVE MY COUNTRY AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE.

Your kind are VERY SCREWED IN THE HEAD if you think communism/socialism are what ANYONE needs…….
        ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA!

Enjoy non-life in China if you think otherwise.

        • What a precious little picture of evil bigotry your comments are. Clearly, you want to live in a fascistic world dominated by Right Think, as defined by you and whomever you designate to be likeminded people.

        • “PUAL”
          Do you “own” a home?
          I don’t believe you do.
If you do, did you have to “EARN” that home or anything else you may “own”?
Did you have to “do” ANYTHING such as “work” (build, create) what you “own”?
How (in a “socialist” society) does ANYTHING get created if all are just “given” everything in life?
“SOMEONE” has to build/create ANYTHING before ANYONE can have it.
WHO would be the “ones” that build/create a home for you to be “given”?
Would it be “SLAVE LABOR” of some sort?
OR would it be MY HOME, STOLEN FROM ME that would be “given” to you?

As for “evil bigotry” you imply, YOU nor ANYONE ELSE CANNOT TWIST FREEDOM INTO FASCISM!

Such a comment as you have made is TOTALLY STUPID!

“Keep your hands off of my stack.”
OR you might lose your hands.

          Get a “JOB”!
“WORK for or “EARN” what you “want” or “need” like GOD “MADE IT FOR YOU” to have to do.

    • In Germany they first came for the Communists,
      and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,
      and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
      and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me –
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

      • Well said.

      • Having “pointed” your “statement” at me………

First off, this is AMERICA not NAZI GERMANY, OUR system is set up (by the CONSTITUTION) to PROMOTE FREEDOM.
FREEDOM has a very broad meaning, BUT, IT does not mean ANYONE can take from one and “give” “IT” to others.
That is known as THEFT! Exactly what is being tried at this point of twisting the LAZY masses’ minds.

Say you are in “some” “competition” such as a foot race and someone can outrun you.
Do all the “slower” runners come in First Place eventhough they did not cross the finish line in First Place?

No matter what it is, there will be things others are better at than you and things you are better at than others.
        WE ARE NOT ALL EQUAL!

NO ONE CAN “HAVE” WHAT IS MINE!
I “worked” for it and “EARNED” it!
        Others must do the same!

Go ahead make schools give all the kids A+’s on everything no matter what they actually score on their “work”, LIFE will be “PERFECT” in such a FALSE REALITY!

      • there is a same song, but it starts with “in CCCP they first came for the… “.

  28. Occupy Occupy Everything!

    Occupywallst.org/chat/

One Demand? Restore the constituion would be a good one.

    • Exactly.

      ==V==

  29. Who the fuck are you to say what American need not to seek Andrew Steele ?

Capitalism has to be replaced if we are to find solutions for the continuation of human life on this planet. There is no way back to your 18th century fantasy capitalism of farmers and individual entrepreneurs.

    • Capitalism and the Rule of Law of soveriegn nations need to be established and defended. You’re mistaking what we have today for capitalism, it’s not, it’s the systematic enslavement of a nation for corporate needs.

      • Come on, even the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics was capitalist by nature…even though it is better known as state capitalism…

Rule of Law and individual freedom should of course be defended.

        • That is revisionist history if I’ve ever read it.

The USSR was communist through and through.

      • What I find interesting is that people always defend capitalism by saying that what is going on today isn’t capitalism. Ok. But why does that same type of argument never apply to communism or socialism? Whenever folks want to bash communism or socialism, they invariably point to the worst crimes of China and Russia. But that was not what any sane socialist or communist ever envisioned, right?

        • Socialism has always failed because there is no utopia in reality. It is then taken over by a dictator with promises of helping the little people. Check history, it always repeats its self!

        • “But that was not what any sane socialist or communist ever envisioned, right?”

WHO WAS A “SANE” socialist or communist, EVER?

          Please enlighten us?

          Theft or slavery=SANE?

          Might you be INSANE?

      • You are so correct! The ignorant mind touts about their understanding of capitalism when in reality it is corporatism or crony capitalism. Government heavily influenced by corporate money needs to be ended ASAP!

    • Ignorance. Pure ignorance.

      • Chant this repeatedly, so that it sounds true…

        • Chanting…something the socialist OWS protesters practice daily

        • There’s nothing like stepping in our own BS, eh?

    • Lost in your mind.

      Move to CHINA!

    • Exactly. Yes, lets return to those wonderful days of the 19th century, when the national economy was based on slave labor and land stolen from native americans, and ruthless exploitation of immigrants.

I don’t know that capitalism needs to be replaced, though. I think socialism and capitalism quite obviously work well TOGETHER. They complement each other.

      • The idea of capitalism you are putting forward is that it is doomed to enrich the minority to the detriment of the majority. OK fine. How would it go about this? Socialism. Socialism and capitalism as you define them are flip sides of the same coin. Socialism is a system based on the economics of wealth being destroyed or cashed in for money. Of the family or nation or individuality etc. Resources all. For the collective. Which shall then crash but shall, unlike the wealth based system of those who remained capitalist, then have their money based wealthless based system enslaved into wage slavery. As money grubbing socialists can have their money transferred to the wealthy more easily than the wealth of the wealthy can be transferred to them as it isnt transferrable only destructable.

        • Having no inherent value.

      • “land stolen from native americans” happened long before 1776 when America was a BRITISH colony.

I’ll admit, things were NOT perfect in 1776, we still had slavery and women’s liberation movement, so yeah, our only mistake was not providing the Bill of Rights to ALL OF HUMANITY, wake up pual, or is it PAUL?

    • Capitalism, trading value for value to the mutual gain of both parties involved, is the way that a rational life form flourishes. People who say they are against capitalism do NOT understand this.

  30. Capitalism is dead. We now have corporatism AKA a Fascist economy. This creates monopoly. The bailouts put the final nail in capitalism’s coffin. Maybe we do have “creditism”. But if that were true there would not have been bailouts and those that should have failed would have go into bankruptcy.

    • Sams for you as Nihilista.

      Please Hurry!

      • I guess you love Democracy enough to kick out anyone who doesn’t agree with your interpretation of it, huh?

        • Democracy is a big joke played on the masses.

BUT, you wouldn’t know the difference!

          Especially you KID,”pual”.
By the way “learn” how to spell your name “correctly”.

        • what? are you jealous, commie? see. that’s the point. you communists are no better than fascists. you’d kick everyone out if this was communism. you’re an idiot if you think communists wouldn’t stifle dissent if it were up to them. that’s why it’s called “fighting the oppression”, not “communism vs capitalism”. that’s bullshit, straight ouf of commie brainwashing propaganda manuals. it reminds me of church. or jesus camp. or corporate mentality. or neocons. see? no difference whatsoever. commie.
          lol.

  31. Yes, ending the privately owned federal reserve would be a good start, but only a start.

Who is to Blame for the Financial Crisis

The blame is shared between a Wall Street Cabal and some government officials who unwittingly or knowingly executed the Cabal’s agenda and continue to empower them and protect them.

The Wall Street Cabal dominates the US government, treasury, congress, and federal reserve banks through their lobbying arm the Financial Services Roundtable (www.fsround.org) The cabal consist of the largest investment banks and financial conglomerates, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Citibank and JP Morgan. Securities insurance companies like AIG, MBIA, AMBAC and the top three credit rating agencies including Moody’s, Standard Poor’s and Fitch.

Their partners were prominent academics and ex-Wall Street executives who worked for the government and protected their agenda. These people were appointed by US Presidents including Reagan, Bush Senior, Clinton, Bush and Obama to top government positions, in part as a payback for campaign contribution by some of these Wall Street firms. Some of these government officials unwittingly empowered the cabal and some took deliberate actions to bailout Wall Street and later protected them from prosecution.

Who contributed to the creation to the financial crisis and the ensuing economic crisis?

The following is a general answer followed by a section naming the key players:

    * Regulators who relaxed risk management regulations required by the banks and for not regulating derivative investments (please, see more specific details below)

    * The Federal Reserve Chairmen who dismissed the build-up of the housing bubble from 2002 to 2007 until it was too late. They did not take actions to regulate mortgage companies or control the housing bubble

    * World Central Bankers who blindly copied the US Federal Reserve Bank policies

    * World Financial Regulators who blindly copied US financial market models and regulations

    * World Investment Banks who sold subprime (high risk) mortgage backed securities to their customers without fully understanding them and who hired credit rating agencies to rate them as high quality investment when in fact they included high risk loans. The same banks who sold the subprime investments later bet against their own clients without disclosing the conflict of interest to their clients

    * Credit Rating Agencies who overrated junk securities as investment-grade quality and misled investors about the risk and the value of these investments

    * Academic and Financial Economists who ignored the warnings and misjudged macroeconomic and financial market indicators

    * Award-winning Economists who designed flawed risk pricing models

    * Investment Analysts who used flawed risk pricing models and asset portfolio theories

    * Wall Street Banking Executives who ignored internal risk management policies out of greed to increase revenues and their bonuses in the short term at the expense of long term stability of their companies

    * Wall Street Boards of Directors who did not protect their shareholders against excessive executive compensation and ignored prudent risk management strategies

    * Wall Street Advisors who did not do their homework before advising their clients on bad investments

    * Investment Fund Managers who lost billions of dollars investing without adequate due diligence

    * Mortgage Brokers who sold loans to unqualified borrowers in order to collect more commissions

    * Homebuyers who took loans they could not afford to pay back and blamed the banks for predatory lending

    * US Presidents for hiring former Wall Street lobbyists as government policy makers who bailed out the banks without regard to the moral hazard. By doing so, they shifted the burden on the taxpayers and risked the future of the national economy

    * US Supreme Court Justices who ruled that the government may not ban political spending by corporations in candidate elections thus tightening the grip of Wall Street on government officials and skewing the balance of power in favor of Wall Street and big companies.

    * The Financial Media who took no responsibility for promoting the illusions of a healthy housing sector and for not asking the right questions. Media outlets that favored a promotional business model at the expense of investigative journalism. In our research, we found a prevalent bias in allocating airwaves and print space to brand name experts. Most journalists and editors seem to ignore voices that are not well-known or those who have a story that do not fit their narrative or preconception. All we had to do is Google simple phrases like “US Economic Risks” to find a wealth of information that would raise so many critical questions. If equal media exposure was given to the voices that warned us about the housing bubble, the damage could have been mitigated.

    • You actually bring up a good subject…

But I wonder if you truly wrote this or copied and pasted it?

Then I wonder if you have enough incite to really get a grasp of what you posted?

Fact… playing the market is a risk, anyone that invests knows this. Every investment portfolio comes with the bold print that nothing is guaranteed. Are you familiar with “High Risk” and “Low risk” investments… and why they call them growth funds?

      C’mon man…

So half of your comments are redundant. Such as…
      * Wall Street Banking Executives who ignored internal risk management policies out of greed to increase revenues and their bonuses in the short term at the expense of long term stability of their companies.

      * Wall Street Boards of Directors who did not protect their shareholders against excessive executive compensation and ignored prudent risk management strategies

      * Wall Street Advisors who did not do their homework before advising their clients on bad investments

      * Investment Fund Managers who lost billions of dollars investing without adequate due diligence.

The first question is… when did expecting compensation for expert advice become immoral? If I help you make money and ask for a portion of that return… That’s a no-no? My attitude is… If you don’t like it go elsewhere. And likely you wouldn’t get adequate results.

Then comes the mortgage bubble… which is really the good part of the subject.

What you fail to notate is that the Clinton administration forced the banks to take on high risk applicants while raising the debt to income ratio that qualified individuals that otherwise wouldn’t have. Any homeowner that blamed any bank for predatory lending is a liar. In a market where desire overrules common sense… the buyer still signed the dotted line.

Fact is… the market was ripe and quite healthy. Almost out of hand. And knowing that the Federal Reserve is responsible for controlling inflation… makes one wonder if the housing crash was maybe something that needed to be done. [But I believe there were other sinister motives behind it all. Especially when we factor in the Zero interest loans implemented to stimulate the auto industry right after 9/11. Another subject…] But I don’t believe your post is on target.

You’re trying to pass the buck and eliminate the responsible party from their actions. There’s so much to your post that’s BS.

But you need to deceive the average person that hasn’t the foggiest clue of what these terms and comment mean.

If anything is predatory it is your comment… pulling on the strings of the unsuspecting while playing on the emotions to stimulate a response from the uneducated and unknowing.

And knowing your history to damn the Jews and make excuses for the Muslims… your comment is in line with deluding the masses.

  32. The newspaper looks very mainstream. Like someone that knows how to make a newspaper has tried to make it look alternative.

    • I believe the “Wall Street Journal” has a law suit on their hands… and will win.
