Donald Trump’s approval ratings are falling yet again according to an Associated Press and NORC Center for Public Affairs Research survey.

The latest numbers show that 64% disapprove of Trump’s performance as president and 65% say he has “little or no respect for the nation’s democratic institutions and traditions.”

In this poll, “one-quarter of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents disapproved of Trump” with regard to respect for Americans plight an foundationally American institutions.

Problems respondents to the survey have with Trump is his pension for trying to thwart investigations into possible ties with Russia during last year’s election, his attacks on former FBI director James Comey and special counsel Robert Mueller.

Out of frustration, Trump had a Twitter meltdown this week, claiming that his approval rating is higher than President Obama.

Trump quoted a Rasmussen poll that is notorious for selecting favorable respondents during their survey process; specifically those leaning toward Trump within the conservative sphere.

According to factual data, President Obama entered the presidency in 2009 with a 67% approval rating as opposed to Trump’s 46% in 2017.

And while Trump’s presidential brand reaches crisis levels, Great America Alliance, a pro-Trump non-profit is meddling in the Georgia special election using fake news to sway voters by trying to convince them that Obama doesn’t care about African Americans.

The fake news ad begins with conservative activist Autry Pruitt arguing this Republican talking point: “It may seem out of season, but all of a sudden, Democratic politicians have started coming around again. We normally only see them every other November, swarming around and making promises to get our vote. But nothing ever changes for us, does it? Here’s what President Barack Obama had to say about it.”

Misquoting President Obama’s narration of his book “Dreams From My Father”; the ad plays a clip wherein Obama says: “Plantation politics. Black people in the worst jobs. The worst housing. Police brutality rampant. But when the so-called black committeemen came around election time, we’d all line up and vote the straight Democratic ticket. Sell our souls for a Christmas turkey.”

This portion of the book was in reference to a quote from a barber discussing politics in Chicago under their first African American mayor in 1983 and has nothing to do with Pruitt’s intimation.

When asked about why this quote was taken out of context, Eric Beach, co-chair for the pro-Trump PAC said: “Like any ad, those are his words and we want to use his words and I’ll leave it at that.”

However with Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff holding a 2 point lead over Republican Karen Handel in the Georgia special election, it’s clear that associates of Trump’s attempt to sully the reputation of Democrats is not working.
