Twenty-Four people are listed as missing as fears mount of them not being found.

Based on the official data as of 18:45 Thursday, 38 people have died in the tragedy in Tempi from the collision between the passenger train on the Athens-Thessaloniki line and the commercial train from Thessaloniki.

There are 24 missing people, obtained from the number of passengers excluding the dead, the injured and those who did not require hospitalization.

There were 341 passengers on board the passenger train and 13 other staff – 354 people. There were two people on the commercial freight train.

Of the 72 hospitalized passengers, 15 were discharged, and 57 passengers remain for hospitalization, of which six are in the intensive care Unit.

According to local media, a 21-year-old, a 25-year-old, a 26-year-old, a 23-year-old, a 26-year-old, and a young woman who has not been identified.

In addition, always according to the Fire Department, 194 passengers were transported by five buses to Thessaloniki, by a 6th bus, 20 passengers were transported to Larissa, and eight passengers to Katerini.
