Two Pals killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, West Bank

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip/ West Bank –Israeli occupation forces killed two Palestinians on Friday and wounded more than 30 others in Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank.

Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that the Israeli occupation forces shot dead the Palestinian youth Hani Wahda, 22, in the east of Al-Sheja’ea Neighbourhood, east of the Gaza City.

In addition, Al-Qidra said, the Israeli occupation wounded nine other Palestinian citizens in the same place during a protest.

Eyewitnesses and several Palestinian and foreign journalists, who covered the protest, said that there was no need to use lethal force in the face of the peaceful protesters.

To the east of the Palestinian refugee camp of Al-Burij, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces wounded four citizens, including a child.

Medical sources confirmed that four wounded were admitted to the reception of Al-Aqsa Martyr Hospital in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

According to the same medical sources, six other Palestinian citizens were wounded in Al-Farahin area, to the east of the city of Khan Younis. Tens others suffered inhalation problems due to heavy tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces.

Woman killed in Silwad

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces shot dead the Palestinian woman Mahdiyeh Hammad, 40, while she was driving her car in the city of Silwad, near the main West Bank city of Ramallah.

Witnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces, stationed at the western area of Silwad, opened fire heavily at the Palestinian woman and directly hit her in different parts of her body.

According to the witnesses, the Palestinian ambulances rushed to the area, but the Israeli occupation forces banned them from offering medical aid.
