Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari said that UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will enter Tehran tonight.
Ansari said that the new round of Geneva peace talks on Syria will start on April 13.
Ansari emphasized the fact that Iran welcomes UN and de Mistura’s attempts to solve Syria crisis.
On Kurds’ presence in Syrian talks, Ansari reiterated ‘We will not interfere in this issue and do not care about the ethnical background of those participating in the event.’
