Was the UK really trying to “counter violent extremism” in Palestine?

My most recent long investigative piece — co-written with Kit Klarenberg — has been making some waves. I spoke to RT about the story and what it tells us, as well as why there is reason to question the British government’s claims to be “countering” the “violent extremism” of al-Qaida and ISIS.

RT is banned from broadcasting in the UK and most of the rest of Europe (even RT’s website is banned at the IP level in the UK, although you can use a VPN to circumvent this censorship).
