WHO Chief Says Herd Immunity is ‘Unethical’, Pretends Sweden and Belarus Don’t Exist

The head of the World Health Organization warned Monday against suggestions by some to just allow COVID-19 to spread in the hope of achieving so-called herd immunity, saying this was “unethical.”

“Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to it,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a virtual press briefing. He explained that “herd immunity is a concept used for vaccination, in which a population can be protected from a certain virus if a threshold of vaccination is reached.”

He pointed out that for measles, for example, it is estimated that if 95% of the population is vaccinated, the remaining 5% will also be protected from the spread of the virus. For polio, the threshold is estimated at 80%. Herd immunity helps protect vulnerable people like infants and those with compromised immune systems who can’t get the vaccine.

However, Tedros said, “Never in the history of public health has herd immunity been used as a strategy for responding to an outbreak, let alone a pandemic.”

Never? Pffff almost ALWAYS that’s exactly what happened such as in the case of Black Death. Nobody invented a miracle cure back then, people just started to develop natural immunity and they finally survived. Now COVID is not even 1% as dangerous as the Black Death was so surely we can develop heard immunity to it.

Also what do vaccines do if not herd immunity? Just a black man… blacks will always remain black! What does he know about our history? Blacks were only normalized and upgraded by the whites in the past 100-200 years. Prior to that, they were just a bunch of savages running around naked, eating each other, not having a single written language, or even invented the wheel…….

So spare us of your “history lessons” blackie! Also how come he can yap his lips like that bla bla bla while pretending countries like Sweden and Belarus don’t exist? Neither of these countries locked their people in their homes, they had no restrictions and look, they managed to survive, almost better than anyone else we may add…
