They went to Crete to enjoy carefree days and relax but one Dutch tourist ended up one in the hospital and the other in police custody.
The reason for two Dutchmen, who, according to Creta Post, started a wild fight yesterday early in the morning in Hersonissos, is still unknown.
The 21-year-old Dutchman was furiously punching and kicking a 34-year-old fellow countryman, causing significant bodily harm.
The 34-year-old was initially transferred to a private nursing centre in the area and then the doctors ordered his immediate transfer to the University Hospital of Heraklion.
The 21-year-old was located, arrested and is being held at the local Police Department.
