“I really wanted to celebrate the release of the New iPad. So I thought
the best way to express that was as a Samurai. I’m an iPad Samurai,”
said Ryo Takahashi, wearing an iPad-themed samurai costume in Tokyo.
However, for others the gruelling wait outside has become the experience
itself.
“I just wanted to try something new. I’m here on Spring break and I
wasn’t really doing anything, so I thought I would come with them and you
know, enjoy the bonding time here with them,” said one student queuing
up outside an Apple store in New York.
