TEHRAN, March 15 (Shana) – Lavan Refinery provided the Iranian market with 2.8 million liters of Euro-4 fuels on a daily basis, the refinery’s chief said.
Managing Director of Lavan Refinery Mohammad Ali Akhbari told Shana that the production is made possible by licensed projects of the refinery.
He said the refinery has defined several projects under foreign licenses which include a hydrodesulfurization (HDS) unit and isomerization unit for production of gasoline.
The HDS unit of the refinery provides 2.8ml/d of jet fuel and gasoil.
The refinery has also reduced its fuel oil from 28% to 20% which is a great achievement, he added.
