IRNA – Azerbaijan is ready to invest $100 million in Astara-Anzali-Rasht railway project, Azeri envoy to Iran Bonyad Hosseinov said.
The investment plan has been presented by Azerbaijan to Iran and it will be finalized within days, Hosseinov told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday.
He pointed to three-year incentive tax-exemption plan for Azerbaijan to transfer products, saying 35 hectares of land has been allocated to Azerbaijan to build a wharf.
He also referred to promoting ties between the two countries, saying in addition to 75-percent growth in trade transactions, one million Iranians travel to Azerbaijan annually.
