Bradley R. Smith of CODOH Has Passed Away

I wish to express my condolences to the family and friends of Bradley R. Smith. I first became acquainted with his work when he appeared on the Phil Donahue show back in 1994. Donahue was quite popular in Chicago and paved the way for Oprah Winfrey. Here is the first part of the show:

I was outraged when David Irving was arrested in 2005 in Austria for thought and speech crimes. The very same day the authorities took him into custody, I sent off an article in defense of Irving to Bradley R. Smith, which he immediately published that same day:

Rest in peace, Mr. Smith, and thank you for your decades of service!
