In recent weeks GOP congressmen have resorted to all sorts of underhanded schemes to avoid interacting with their angry constituents back home over August recess. Now two Republican freshmen, Reps. Daniel Webster (R-FL) and Tim Griffin (R-AR), are taking this trend one step further, using disturbing intimidation tactics and “watch lists” to discourage constituents from asking them questions:

Rep. Webster’s Winter Garden, Florida district office gave out a “Watch List” of six Floridians who had asked questions at Webster’s previous town halls. The list, with the header “For the Media,” included names, photographs, and questions that members of the media should ask them.

The Watch List itself doesn’t contain any information on who wrote it or where it comes from. The memos surfaced in Arkansas in connection to the office of Rep. Tim Griffin, and were traced back to Rep. Webster’s office.

With black and white photos that resemble police surveillance, some of them pulled from the individuals’ Facebook profiles, the memo is clearly meant to intimidate these six people and anyone else who might stand up and ask a question of their elected representative. At a Griffin town hall, staffers were handing out the Watch List to attendees, calling it their “homework.” Griffin staffers were also spotted taking photos and shooting video of attendees, creating an extra layer of intimidation.

  1. This is getting really scary on this earth!! Beam me up JESUS !!
    :@0

  2. WOW! A politician asking voters not to ask tough questions? Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t answering tough questions and handling and dealing with tough problems the politicians’ main job in the first place. If you can’t handle the pressure, then find someone else who can. Oh, wait, that would mean you would have to look for another lower paying job like everyone else. AWWww….welcome to REAL LIFE!! Money and power is not given out for free. You have to work for change. Not just show yourself in public and look good on camera. (They remind me of Obama) I mean if a fireman is afraid to go into a burning building, then generally he might want to seek another job that better suits him (as they generally do) as an innocent life may depend on him to save their life. It’s not for everyone. The same thing can apply to politicians. I mean I know it’s hard to give up your porsche, your big house and fancy clothes, but if something happens to the world, those things aren’t going to save you. I mean come on, these politicians are stupid nowadays. They just want to look good on camera like a celebrity and pay some corporation to do their dirty work for them. Lazy, greedy, people who don’t know how to do their job. Kinda like the government people in China.

  3. Your laws no longer protect you. You are now under the laws of Zion and Babylon. They are now free to attack the Kingdom of Christ under the worship of Lucifer and dishonest forms of money.
Avoid the organ-harvesters from Mars. You are now just a commodity.

  4. WAKE UP ! WAKE UP ! WAKE UP !
Then wake up your relatives, friends, and neighbors.
    And together, take action. Now.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS BEING RUN BY CRIMINALS AND TRAITORS. AND THERE ARE MANY POLITICIANS AT STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS WHO ARE GOING ALONG WITH THE TREASON. DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT.

Yes, they will put you on watch lists.
Yes, they will persecute you for asking too many questions.
And yes, they may even kill you, for standing up for your rights.

But are you a slave, or a free-thinking individual?

  5. VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE, THEN HE WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TOUGH QUESTIONS ANY MORE…. your vote is all you have left in this fight to win back our REPUBLIC… do not tolerate their BS.. Vote incumbents out if they are up for election.
