FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Several Palestinians have been killed and dozens more injured in a fresh series of Israeli airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip.
The casualties over the past few hours come as Israeli fighter jets bombed residential areas in the besieged Palestinian enclave on Tuesday.
Initial reports say Israeli fighter jets targeted over 20 civilian sites across the Palestinian coastal strip and at least six Palestinians have lost their lives in the attacks since the early hours of Tuesday.
Sources say the latest Israeli aerial attacks also turned at least two mosques into ruins in the east of Khan Younis.
This is while Israeli tanks have lined up along the Gaza Strip in apparent preparation for yet another ground incursion into the besieged Palestinian coastal enclave.
According to Press TV correspondent, Israel’s continued aggression on the Gaza has disrupted normal life for all its residents for nearly two months. The deadly blitz has kept students out of their classrooms, since they are now being used as refugee camps.
Many Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are killed on a daily basis as the Israeli military continues pounding the impoverished region.
More than 2,137 Palestinians, including around 570 children, have been killed since Israel launched its onslaught on Gaza on July 8. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.
The United Nations says over 80 percent of the killed Palestinians have been civilians.
