Georgia banned child gender transition on March 21.
Senate Bill 140 bans sex change surgeries and hormone replacement therapy for minors. The bill was passed in both the state House and Senate. It is now headed toRepublican governor Brian Kemp, who will likely pass it.
“As lead sponsor of this bill, I appreciate my colleagues for supporting this important legislation that protects Georgia’s children,” Georgia state Sen. Carden Summers (R-Cordele) wrote on his Facebook page.
The bill noted the “massive unexplained rise in diagnoses of gender dysphoria among children over the past ten years, with most of those experiencing this phenomenon being girls.”… Source
