The U.S. Supreme Court today did not issue a ruling on President Barack Obama’s landmark health care law, meaning the ruling will likely be released next week.
The high court handed down four decisions on Thursday, but not its ruling on the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.

Now, Monday is the only remaining day scheduled for the high court to publish opinions during the current session.

But the court may opt to release its decision later in the week, according to Scotusblog.com, a website sponsored by Bloomberg Law that covers the court.

The high court heard arguments in March on two cases that rose out of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals that challenge aspects of the Affordable Care Act. The tenor of the hearings, during which some justices fired stern questions at the Obama administration’s lawyers over the law’s constitutionality, sparked speculation that the court would strike down part or all of the law.
