A masseur accused of sexually assaulting 18 women claimed yesterday that he had several celebrity clients including Nancy Dell’Olio and Sir Paul McCartney’s daughter, Mary.

Daniel Pytlarz said he worked as a personal trainer and masseur for Miss Dell’Olio, ex-girlfriend of former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, until his arrest last year.

He told Southwark Crown Court that he also gave massages to members of the Saudi royal family, photographer Miss McCartney and her husband Simon Aboud.

Southwark Crown Court heard Paul McCartney's employee was reluctant to testify against masseur Daniel Pytlarz because she knew her boss didn't want 'his name in the press'

The Polish-born 35-year-old is alleged to have intimately touched women at his Violet Clinic Body and Skincare Spa in St John’s Wood, north-west London, over a two-and-a-half-year period. He denies 21 counts of sexual assault.

A female former employee of Sir Paul is one of his alleged victims and she has told the court that the masseur was recommended to her by one of the former Beatle’s daughters.

Yesterday Pytlarz denied any wrongdoing and spoke of his pride in his ‘prestigious’ client list. He told the court: ‘For me myself, it is something special. I come from a small town with 400,000 people in Poland and I suddenly met Royals from Saudi Arabia, Mary McCartney and her husband Simon, even her child who looked like a little Paul.

‘Nancy Dell’Olio was a regular client until I was arrested. I was also her personal trainer. I also massaged the famous English pianist James Rhodes.

‘There are others but I don’t want to destroy their names. They are still with me and they are still supporting me.’

He said he did not have a big publicity machine so famous clients helped spread the word of the business that he ran with his wife, Urszula.

Pytlarz told the court that he decided to open his firm in September 2008  as he had heard that celebrities such as Madonna attended a pilates class  next door.

He had been booked to give Sir Paul and his then girlfriend Nancy Shevell a massage at their North London home in December 2009, the court has heard.

But this was cancelled after one of the star’s female employees alleged that Pytlarz had touched her intimately during a massage at his spa the previous day.

Pytlarz told jurors that following the massage, the woman seemed relaxed and had chatted with him and his wife for 15 to 20 minutes. She agreed to distribute leaflets about his spa to friends.

The next day he received a polite message to say that the appointment with Sir Paul was cancelled.

He said when he was later arrested he did not understand why. He was ‘shocked’ and ‘angry’ that his clients could make such accusations about him.

‘I would never do that. I didn’t assault anyone. I work really hard and tried everything I could to be the best. I  would never touch anyone’s private parts or nipples.’

He conceded it was ‘possible’ that he might have touched someone inappropriately. But he added: ‘It must have been an accident because I would never willingly have touched anyone like that.’

During his police interview he told officers about a pressure point that he had learned in Thailand which gives the ‘release of the sensual feeling,’ the court was told.

But under cross-examination Pytlarz said he had used the wrong word and denied knowing anything about erotic or tantric massages.

He told jurors that he and his wife, whom he met eight years ago, had a happy marriage. ‘Our relationship is like a dream come true. We are so into each other. I love Urzsula so much, I would give her my life – everything.’

The trial continues.
