Islamabad, March 25, IRNA – At the first day of President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Pakistan, six cooperation documents were signed between the two countries on Friday afternoon.
Titles of the signed documents are:
– Five–year strategic trade programs
– Cooperation between chambers of commerce of Iran and Pakistan
– Cooperation between Foreign Ministry Institue for Political and International Studies and Karachi Foreign Relations Council
– Cooperation between Iran’s Central Insurance and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
– Cultural and academic cooperation between Pakistan Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy and Iran’s Foreign Ministry’s School of International Relations
– Memorandum of Understanding on reciprocal cooperation in the fields of health, medical education, medicine and medical equipment.
President Rouhani attended a dinner banquet by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif following signing of the documents.
Heading a top-ranking delegation, President Rouhani arrived in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan, on Friday afternoon and was welcomed by Premier Sharif at the airport.
