Israeli military appeals against release of Pal child

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli military appealed on Wednesday against the release of wounded Palestinian minor apprehended in hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces opened live fire at the Palestinian protestors in the West Bank city of Bethlehem two weeks ago and wounded several Palestinians.

Child Issa abdul-Mu’ti, 13, was among them and he was shot by an explosive live bullet in his right leg and admitted to hospital in serious conditions.

Abdul-Mu’ti has been apprehended in the Israeli hospital until today, but he receives inhumane treatment as he has been handcuffed to his bed and received bad medical treatment.

Medical sources in the hospital revealed today morning that his leg is to be amputated due to rotten parts of it.

Family of the child accused the Israeli medical staff of ignoring their son and the need to cut his leg was an outcome of that negligence.

On Tuesday, an Israeli court decided to release the child on bail of paying $20,000. However, the Israeli military appealed against this ruling.
