Little boy banned from visiting his father in Israeli jails

Israeli occupation authorities prevented five-year-old boy from visiting his father under illegal administrative detention.

Apparently, the five-year-old boy Ibrahim abu-Fannouneh, is labelled a threat on the Israeli national security in order to be banned from having a look at his father from behind a glass wall.

The father, Mohamed abu-Fannouneh, 51, has been inside Israeli prisons since October 22, 2015. He was put under the illegal Israeli administrative detention. This means that he was imprisoned for no reason.

Um Mahmoud, the prisoner’s wife, said that she had never been allowed to visit her husband since he was arrested.

Abu-Fannouneh, from the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, is a father of nine children. He was arrested by the Israeli occupation seven times and spent a total of ten years inside Israeli prisons.

His wife said that he had a surgery in his ear a few days ago after nearly losing his hearing, adding that he also suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol rate in his blood.

The Israeli occupation authorities also prevented the wife from traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj earlier this year.

One of the couple’s sons, Mahmoud, was murdered by the Israeli occupation forces in March after allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier.
