FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Press TV has conducted an interview with Rodney Shakespeare, a political analyst from London, about the massive militarization of the London Olympic Games and what this could mean for British society. The following is an approximate transcription of the interview.
Press TV: How would the average Briton feel about the mood and atmosphere of the Olympics when you can see heavily armed guards at every turn and possibly at some events look up and see an anti-aircraft missile over your head?
Shakespeare: The object of this militarization is to test the British population and it’s not really about the Olympics. It’s about a growing economic collapse in which the government intends on suppressing the people because they have no solution for this collapse; it’s a result of a flawed and collapsing system.
In the USA, they are abominably treating journalists, it’s become most sinister. The journalists are being hit even more than peaceful demonstrators.
And in the UK with the Olympics we are being told now that the military can be anywhere and can control us in exactly the same way as in the USA. In the USA they just passed a law, which effectively gives the government control in all respects over all methods of communication.
You are looking at the military steps and the repressive steps of a growing fascism and that is the truth of the matter. It’s really nothing to do with the Olympics as such.
Press TV: What about the effect the cost of this will have on the British economy? These Olympic Games have already been criticized for possibly costing too much already and now there is this militarizing dimension being added to the mix.
Shakespeare: Yes. It’s not really the cost of the Olympics, which the people rightly or wrongly have supported the cost. This is the cost of the military and there is no limit to the cost of the military, which the governments of the West will use in order to suppress the population at a time of economic withdrawal and social and economic distress.
The government certainly will pay anything to crush their own people. I’m afraid it’s coming and the people must wake up. Because if they don’t, given modern methods of control, which are partly police, particularly in military and means of shutting down the internet, we will find ourselves in fascist society.
