A secret dossier has been revealed that is associated with a Roswell-like incident in the UK and it is being referred to as Britain’s X-Files.
X-FILES RELEASED IN BRITAIN BY MOD THAT IS IF YOU CAN GET THEM
A total of 15 cached files have been opened up by the Ministry of Defence and it gives details about some of the most mysterious incidents that have occurred in the skies over Britain.
The dossier includes materials that are in relation to an unsolved close encounter that is said to be similar to the Roswell incident. This is an incident that took place in the UK in December 1980 in which three military guards said that they saw flashing lights along with a triangular shaped object close to the RAF base in Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk. An investigation had been opened at the time but the mystery surrounding what happened has remained unsolved.
STRANGE HAPPENINGS IN RENDLESHAM FOREST OVER SEVERAL NIGHTS
The Rendlesham Forest incident took place on 26 December 1980 when military personnel from the twin bases of RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters saw what they claimed was a strange light in the forest which lies directly between the two bases.
Three men set off from the base to investigate, and it was said that two of them came across a triangular shaped craft that was small. Jim Penniston, one of the men, was able to get close enough to touch one side of the object. He along with another man, John Burroughs, made a sketch of the strange craft for statements. Two nights following the incident Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt along with a team found a UFO.
He later said that he was a senior official who has always routinely denied that type of thing and who has worked to debunk UFOs and then he found himself directly in the middle of something that he could not explain. Even though the Ministry of Defence investigated the Rendlesham Forest incident it has so far remained unexplained. UFO enthusiasts are going to have to wait for some time yet to find out the truth behind what happened, even though new files have been released, due to the fact that there is a process that has been put in place for reading the files. The files have not been digitized and this means that anyone who wants to read them will have to join a queue of other people who wish to inspect the paper records which are kept in the reading room of the National Archives in Kew in West London.
FORMER MILITARY OF DEFENCE EMPLOYEE SAYS THERE IS LACK OF SMOKING GUN
There are also three additional files that have not been released yet said former civil servant Nick Pope who used to work for the Military of Defence. He was the man who ran the UFO project of the MoD from 1991 to 1994, and he said that there is a lack of a smoking gun along with the fact that the files seem to have slipped out without anyone announcing them formally. He went on to say that this is going to start conspiracy theories as many people will think that all the good things about the events will have been held back.
A copy of the report from the United States Air Force who reported on the mysterious sightings of the UFO close to the bases in Suffolk has been revealed and it says that on the night of 29 December 1980 the region where the craft had fallen was checked for radiation and there were peak beta/gamma readings in three depressions that were close to the middle of the triangle that had been formed by depressions.
STRANGE LIGHTS AND OBJECTS SPOTTED IN SKY
It went on to say that later on in the night a red light was seen through the trees and it pulsed and moved about. It seemed to be throwing off some particles at one point before then breaking into five white objects which then disappeared. Straight after three objects like stars were seen on the horizon. It was said that the objects made angular movements that were sharp and they turned to full circles. Two objects to the south were seen for about two to three hours, and they beamed down light from time to time. The statement finished by saying that many individuals had seen the activities.
Following the newly released files, another three more are yet to be released relating to UFO files, and it has been said that they are going to be made public later this year. It was only last year when an airman from the US was involved in a legal bid to get military health chiefs to pay for his treatments for the injuries that he claimed he had got when he was at Rendlesham Forest. John Burroughs got full disability for those injuries, and the government in the US has had to acknowledge the existence of aerial phenomena that is unidentified, while caused the injuries to Burroughs.
