Comic-book superpowers could become reality as scientists have designed a phone that works as ‘X-Ray spec’.

A hi-tech chip allows a phone to ‘see through’ walls, wood and plastics – and (although the researchers are coy about this) through fabrics such as clothing.

Doctors could also use the imagers to look inside the body for cancer tumours without damaging X-Rays or large, expensive MRI scanners.

Another reason to live like me and save a few hundred dollars each summer by going naked at home. Lower electric bill, water bill, less detergent, clothes last longer, less work, etc.
Of course the hordes of christian sheeple on here would disagree.

It’s still ashame they figured this out though—more government spying.

This is actually really good news for me and my coworkers at the TSA. I work at the Denver airport and having something more mobile would help us out ALOT. I think it can make the lines move alot faster being able to walk down lines or throughout the airport. It could help preselect people for pat downs and take away the awkwardness of searching kids. I doubt this will be released to the general public, probably only for us law enforcement.

- TSA aren’t law enforcement, TSA are glorified security guards acting out fantasies. Just because TSA requires nothing in the way of a real background check and/or actual police academy training doesn’t make you a law enforcement officer. That’s why they have actual POLICE OFFICERS at airports are there to clean any mess you guys can’t get yourself out of. Thus far, the TSA has become an utter failure and embarrassment to the real law enforcement community. I already know of TSA personnel arrests in my jurisdiction that involved possession of controlled substance (drugs), weapon charges warrant arrests, etc. And after arresting the TSA, they become a housing problem because they have to kept apart from the hard core arrestees to keep them in one piece.
- You have to remember one thing at least, you’re a security guard and NOT Law Enforcement. You have NO power to arrest and you have NO power to ticket or cite for infraction or incident. All you do is ASSIST real Law Enforcement personnel. That’s all. Don’t grow your ego too large believing you’re an actual Law Enforcement officer when you’re not.
