According to a program document introduced by Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the new Turkish cabinet is planning to step up cooperation with Iran in various sectors of economy.

ANKARA (Sputnik) – The new Turkish cabinet is planning to step up cooperation with Iran in various sectors of economy, according to a program document introduced by Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on Tuesday in the Turkish parliament.

“The government will work to step up relations with Iran in such sectors as trade, energy, transport and tourism,” the document says.

Yildirim replaced Ahmed Davutoglu as new Turkish prime minister on Sunday. President Tayyip Erdogan has approved the new Cabinet headed by Yildirim.
