Study: Unvaccinated children less prone to allergies and disease than vaccinated children

It is commonly assumed that vaccinations are responsible for bringing about substantial improvements in public health, and that humans were much more prone to developing serious disease prior to their advent. But a new survey released by VaccineInjury.info debunks this myth by showing that unvaccinated children are far less prone to developing allergies, autoimmune disorders, neurological problems, endocrine diseases, and other illnesses compared to their vaccinated counterparts.

German homeopathic practitioner Andreas Bachmair compiled health data on more than 8,000 unvaccinated children from at least 15 different countries, and compared it to health data compiled on more than 17,400 vaccinated children involved in a German study known asKiGGS – The German Health Interview and Examination Survey for Children and Adolescents.

The children involved in both studies ranged in age from 0 – 17, but most of the children involved in the unvaccinated study were eight years of age or younger. Both studies, however, used the same criteria for collecting data on children’s health, and both are considered to have arrived at valid results.

In every single health category evaluated as part of both studies, the overall health of unvaccinated children was leaps and bounds ahead of the vaccinated children. The allergy rate among vaccinated children, for instance, was more than double the allergy rate among unvaccinated children. And worse, vaccinated children were found to be nearly eight times more prone to developing asthma or chronic Bronchitis than were unvaccinated children.

Another significant difference between the two groups was observed in the category of autoimmune disorders. While less than half of one percent of unvaccinated children were found to have developed an autoimmune disease, roughly seven percent of vaccinated children developed one — and according to the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), nearly 25 percent of Americans today suffer from at least one autoimmune disorder.

The other health categories where unvaccinated children fared better than vaccinated children included neurodermatitis, herpes, otitis media, hay fever, hyperactivity, scoliosis, epilepsy and seizures, migraine headaches, and thyroid disease. The only category where disease rates were roughly equal between the two groups was in the category of diabetes mellitus, a disease which affects only about 0.2% of children under 20 anyway.

    • This is really good information. All parents should take this to heart.

  3. Nice to see more data being collected on this. It’s impossible to prove anything to the satisfaction of “officialdom” but the more “official” studies and reports, the easier it is for those of us with unvaccinated children to get them through school, sports programs, etc.

On diabetes 1 and other autoimmune disorders (MS, RA, etc.), there is a huge connection to animal protein – especially casein, which is the main protein in milk. Look for information about “molecular mimicry”. Basically, animal protein is so similar to human protein that your immune system recognizes it as foreign tissue, then makes an “error” in recognizing your own tissue – the pancreas, brain, joints, etc. – as foreign. There are a growing number of doctors and researchers advocating a low-fat, vegan diet for disease prevention, and who are successfully reversing everything from MS to heart disease. A good place to start is Dr. John McDougall, who has been around for decades. I’d love to hear Alex cover this topic.

My wife and I have been eating his style of diet – based on potatoes, rice and other grains and starches, with a lot of vegetables, beans and fruit – for about 6 months, and have cleared up a lot of nagging health issues and gained a lot of energy. She lost 30 pounds without exercise. We also took our kids of dairy (are slowly moving toward taking them off meat), and have noticed some improvements in behavior and fewer colds.

I was concerned enough about vaccinations to not give them to my 2nd child (hadn’t heard any of this information before having my first), but I don’t think it’s a silver bullet. Diet has a much bigger impact on health than any other factor, and a lot of information you’ll find from people like Mike Adams and Dr. Mercola (ie “metabolic typing”) is misleading and unscientific. Humans are biologically apes, designed to eat fruits and vegetables, and evolved to eat cooked starches and grains (compare our high amylase (starch-digesting enzymes) to that of a chimp). We don’t have the physiology or digestive enzymes to handle much animal protein.

You could do this same study between kids that do and don’t eat animal products (find rural Chinese or Indian kids as in “The China Study”) and would find much more striking results.

    • Could you explain to me why I have eaten meat my whole life, including a balanced nutritious diet, drank tons of milk when I was younger, take a lot of protein today when working out, and am hardly EVER sick? Probably due to growing up around the farm and being outside all the time. I don’t have much for allergies and being introduced to those healthy bugs i’m sure helped. I’m not sure I fully agree with your statements.

      • It’s possible to drive a car 100 mph in your neighborhood and not get in an accident. It’s just less likely than if you were driving 25. It’s also possible to be fully vaccinated and not get sick from it, but your odds go down substantially.

Biochemically, protein can not be stored – it’s used for tissue building, and anything not used is excreted. Even an active person can only use ~5-10% of their total calories from protein. Any excess puts strain on your liver and kidneys. Same with fat – you need ~5-10% of your diet to be fat, for building tissues, etc. Almost any fruit or vegetable will have a caloric ratio of ~80/10/10% of calories from carbs/protein/fat.

Normally, every cell in your body runs primarily on glucose. A fat-based diet (like Atkins or eskimos) literally shuts this process down and forces the body to rely primarily on ketone bodies, produced by fat metabolism, rather than glucose. Long term, this will trash your organs, and move you toward ketoacidosis, where your blood pH becomes too acidic for your cells to function (as in diabetes 1).

As your own experience suggests, the average person CAN handle meat for a long time, especially if they’re active, and especially if they also eat a lot of vegetables to counteract meat’s acid-effects on the blood and tissues. But this requires a lot more of your digestive and endocrine systems than if you ingested a high-carb, low-fat diet. Add stress and a sedentary lifestyle to that, and diseases start popping up.

Go to WalMart and gauge the average health and fitness of meat-eaters, and compare that to the average health and fitness of low-fat vegans, especially at an advanced age. There’s a pretty interesting book called “Healthy at 100″ (it draws on other books like “The China Study”) that examines the diets and habits of people who are routinely healthy and active into their 90s and sometimes beyond. They looked at Okinawa; Vilcabamba, Ecuador; Abkhazia (former USSR); and Hunza, Pakistan. All these groups have phenomenally long lives and low disease, and all live almost entirely on rice, potatoes, grains, vegetables and fruit. (Some eat a little fish, fermented milk or meat on festival days). The chapter on Abkhazia was amazing – there were 90-100 year old men hiking a dozen miles a day through the mountains and bathing in nearly-freezing water, all run on porridge, fruit and raw vegetables.

This was a lot more like how people ate in the US in the 1800s, when the leading causes of death were infectious diseases, and a woman’s age of menstruation lasted from about 17 to 40. Today it’s more like 12 to 50.

I think everyone has certain predilections toward disease, and a suboptimal diet will push you in that direction. My grandpa ate a standard American diet and lived to be 80 (though he had a double bypass at 70) because he stayed active and had pretty low stress. Two of his 3 children (my dad and my aunt) died at 49 and 55 with rheumatoid arthritis (actually a viral infection enabled by his RA medication) and pancreatic cancer, and the third has lupus. They probably ate a more “packaged” diet than their dad and were less active and more stressed, but none of them were/are junk food addicts.

All I know for sure (from experience) is that you CAN be very healthy eating plants alone, assuming you get sufficient calories, and it’s a good protection against a lot of unpredictable possibilities.

    • Your “huge connection” to animal protein is BS.
If you look into what “vaccinations” the animals were getting you will find THE REAL CONNECTION to what you claim as “FACT”.

Animals are given “antibiotics” which are ALL created in FUNGUS!

If not for “Meat” you would have a smaller brain and be a smaller framed Human, lacking in NECCESSARY fatty oils that your brain is made of and need a continuous replinishing of.
      NOTE: ALZ!

“There are a growing number of doctors and researchers advocating a low-fat, vegan diet for disease prevention, and who are successfully reversing everything from MS to heart disease.”
There is the proof that if you stop eating TOXIC MEAT, full of “vaccines” and “antibiotics” and eat CLEAN animals, OF COURSE you will “cure” problems just by ELIMINATING the TOXINS you have been ingesting through the TOXIC MEAT.

AND you need to know APES EAT MEAT on a regular basis!
Why do you think they have FANGS or CANINE teeth? For looks?

      • Apes have canines for fighting, and you’ve got them for tearing through apple skins. Gorillas eat no animal protein. Wild chimps don’t eat more than a few percent of their total calories from meat, most of which are insects.

Read my comment above. You do need fatty acids for brain development, all of which are available in sufficient amounts in human breast milk (5% of calories from protein, compared to ~20 in organic cow’s milk, which is why feeding cow’s milk to an infant will cause renal failure), fruits, vegetables and starches.

More is not always better. Your body is designed to eat particular types of food, which can be determined by looking at human physiology and biochemistry. You don’t need a bunch of speculation from the Weston A Price Foundation on what “primal” man must have eaten, based on some cave drawings.

      • I don’t doubt that organic meat is better in a number of ways than factory meat, but it’s nutritionally identical. You can look back to the 1700s, when people like Benjamin Franklin were becoming vegetarians when they marveled at how healthy and long-lived the Indians were eating corn, beans and squash, compared to the organic meat-eating whites, who suffered all kinds of chronic afflictions. Or look at today’s Amish, who despite their otherwise optimal lifestyle are not longer-lived (~72 years) than the average population, are often overweight, and who lose their teeth in their 30s.

The Sioux and other plains Indian “hunters” were settled vegetable farmers in the midwest until about 1700, when they were run out by white settlers.

  4. I fought very hard to have my kids not vaccinated, but in order for them to go to school, they had to be, so in the end, we’re all doomed.

    • No your children DID NOT HAVE TO BE “VACCINATED”…….
YOU ALLOWED THEM TO BE “VACCINATED”!

      YOU “SUBMITTED”!
NOW you “SUBMIT” your children to MASS BRAINWASHING and INDOCTRINATION!

      Home Schools are everywhere!

  5. Grow up idiots.

    • Because there’s no comma in your sentence, I assume you’re telling people to raise idiots. I think your parents already beat us to it.
