FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “The opposition parties and their armed gangs and these people they commit many atrocities against the Syrians and they go into some innocent and peaceful villages and kill some people in order to show that the security measurements in these villages and towns are not enough and to pressure on the Security Council to take measurements against the state,” Mohsen Saleh, a professor at the Lebanese University, told Press TV on Friday.
Saleh noted that anti-government armed groups in Syria are not seeking a peaceful solution to the ongoing unrest in the Middle Eastern country.
“I guess these gangs who are not united in any way of having a goal to bring peace to these people I guess they are a big threat for the Syrians in these areas especially in Hama and other places of course near to the Turks borders,” he said.
“And also I guess they are pressured by the Saudis and Qataris in order to commit such atrocities because they are paying the money and the arms from the borders in Lebanon and in Turkey and I guess that is why they are doing so,” Saleh said.
Syria has announced that terrorist groups were behind the killing and wounding of tens of people in the village of al-Treimseh in the east of the country.
Eye witnesses who appeared on Syrian TV said terrorists attacked, destroyed and burned scores of houses in al-Treimseh, on the outskirts of the city of Hama, on Thursday, killing dozens of civilians, Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
Damascus said Western and some Arab media are working with the armed terrorist gangs to sway public opinion against Syria and its people by accusing the government of the killings on the eve of a UN Security Council meeting.
Syria has been gripped by more than 16 months of unrest.
Damascus blames “outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, asserting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
