When the 10-year-old boy was shot in the back outside Moamer Kadhafi’s compound in the Libyan capital, he could never have imagined the even worse horror that awaited him when he got to hospital.

For days he lay unattended, as the hospital had been commandeered by Kadhafi snipers, most of the medical staff had fled in fear, and people around him died by the scores for lack of treatment.

On Friday, he lay on a stretcher inside an ambulance, one of 17 survivors being evacuated by the Red Cross, in too much pain to talk.

His weeping parents were beside themselves amid the stench of dozens of decomposing bodies.

“My son was wounded outside Bab al-Aziziya, but we didn’t know where he had been taken,” his father said. “It’s the first time I’ve seen him in five days. But today we have got him back.”

  1. When will we humans grow up, and stop having wars and learn to live together in peace and harmony. War is not the answer to fix things, must be a better way. After reading this story about the young boy left to die in such a cruel way. Is this what these elites enjoy seeing people suffer in the world for their evil games to have more money, power, and control. It is time all the people stand up what is good and beautiful in the world, stop playing in the hands of evil.

  2. Don’t worry, the Lord hears our prayers, we still have time to go. This is all about wealth and nothing else to do with freedom, that’s for sure.

  3. where is the honor in the taking of a life?
    all life is precious…
    none is insignificant…
    for it cannot be replaced

  4. HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION?

  5. Gaddafi wasn’t a totally bad guy. He actually did a lot for his country, although like all of them (including the US), they usually aren’t able to stay in power without stomping a lot of heads. The problem was that he was having to do the US Puppet Dance and, like Hussein, Torrejos, Hurtado, Allende, Noriega, Mossadegh, (and the list is endless), kowtow to US hegemony; if any of these countries had any hope of pursuing their own dreams, they were quickly thwarted by a handful of malcontents like Kissinger, Rockefeller, and the Bush and Clinton Family sociopaths, who can’t seem to sleep at night unless they are plotting some way to murder people and steal their resources.

Well, while Gaddafi may not have been a saint, he is now unfortunately having to show his ugly side as the US (under the guise of a “civilized” NATO response) forces Gaddafi into a corner like a trapped rat. Well, I’d love to see what happens when the resistance lands at the Kennebunkport compound and both Georges are pissing in their $800 satin pajamas. Meanwhile, on another front, Hillary and that lying dipshit husband of hers have armed themselves with the very M4s that they somehow felt the populace had no right to own and are doing EXACTLY what Gaddafi is doing now; stomping over the wounded and denying them access to medical care for fear of their own capture.

We force these countries and their leaders into these impossible situations and expect them to meet our “exemplary standard” of behavior. Pardon me while I puke.

  6. Let’s send Obama over there to treat the wounded. He can’t do anything else right-maybe he can wave his hands over the wounded, and chant “hope and change”. Maybe, since he was born in the Kenyan jungle, he knows some good witch doctors.
