US claim on Iran, China citizens rejected

“These allegations are baseless and without proof. In fact, the US is horrified of the spread of Iran’s spiritual influence among Muslim nations,” said Safar Naimi-Raz, a member of Iran’s Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Committee.

The US Justice Department said on Friday that a federal grand jury has indicted two men on charges of ‘conspiring to send materials from the United States to Iran that could be used in the enrichment of uranium.’

The Iranian lawmaker said the US anti-Iran allegations are not new, adding that, “The main objective of the global arrogance is to reduce Iran’s control over regional developments and to increase their dominance on the Middle East equations.”

Naimi-Raz said these allegations would have no bearing on the process of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 – Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States plus Germany – as “both sides want the issue to come to a conclusion.”

The next expert-level meeting between Iran and the P5+1 will be held in the Turkish city of Istanbul on July 24.

Iran and the P5+1 agreed to hold the expert-level talks during their negotiations in the Russian capital, Moscow, in June.

The Moscow talks came after three sessions of plenary talks in Baghdad in May and an earlier round of negotiations in the Turkish city of Istanbul in mid-April.
