A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run collision in Melbourne’s east.
Investigators have been told a Ford ute and the motorcycle collided just after 8.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday in Blackburn North.
The ute driver failed to stop and police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has seen a silver or grey-coloured Ford tray ute with damage to its driver side door, to come forward.
The 19-year-old male motorcyclist has been taken to The Alfred Hospital.
