CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Gas prices in West Virginia continue to drop slightly after the Memorial Day weekend.
AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the state is about $3.61. That’s down 4.8 cents from last week.
West Virginia drivers are paying a little more than the national average, which is $3.57 per gallon.
Prices in the state range from about $3.58 in Bridgeport to $3.66 in Huntington.
Gas prices have receded statewide since peaking at about $3.97 in early April.
