Herman Cain won the Florida straw poll with more votes than Perry and Romney combined. Why? I can think of two reasons–and neither of them are that he is a warmonger, worked for the FED, supports the FairTax, supported Romney in 2008, supported TARP, and supports the Patriot Act.

The first reason is face time. Cain was in the debate on Thursday night. Then he spoke on Friday afternoon at CPAC Florida. Then he was the featured speaker at the VIP Reagan Reception on Friday night. Then he stayed around for closing arguments on Saturday afternoon before the straw poll (only Cain, Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul did this).

The second reason is the mention of his cancer during the debate on Thursday night. People are a sucker for things like this. (Yes, I’m glad he recovered).

Would Cain be a better black president than Obama? Probably. He is a warmonger, but not any more so than Obama. Although it would be interesting to see Cain and Obama battle it out for the black vote, I would much rather see Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell.

I was driving and listening to Fox Talk Radio Saturday afternoon between 2 and 4:30 or so. Every half hour Fox news briefs would come on, and they were headlining the Florida straw poll. How important it was for the winner, time to sort out the losers, etc.
OK, they would NEVER do this if they didn’t know what was going to happen. Ron Paul has won most of the other straw polls by a landslide.
So, the fix was on, the question is, how did they do it?
Evidently you just don’t get it yet! Thanks to the Muslim in the White House, it will be 100 years before another Negro gets anywhere near that office!

Let it be widely known that Candidate Cain also supported TARP and even went so far as to admonish the free-market in the depths of the imploding bubble created and fostered his friends at the FEDERAL RESERVE.

The man who once worked at the private bank known as the FEDERAL RESERVE whose fiat monetary schemes continue to rob Americans of their wealth in the form of “Interest Payments” via Income Taxes confiscated by the federal government, reveals himself to be no more adept at understanding the Constitution or free-market than Timothy Geithner.

A couple of months ago Cain made some gaff that had to do with Israel and proved he didn’t know much about the subject. Anyone remember what it was?
- Cain, the Tea Party spoiler in the nomination fight, stopped by Fox News Sunday to talk about his campaign on the morning after he launched it. He walked away bruised and requiring the requisite walkback statement from his staff that has been a hallmark of GOP campaign rollouts lately.
  
  The trouble came when FNS host Chris Wallace turned to the subject of Israel. Cain offered a full-throated attack on President Obama’s Middle East policy speech, restating that Obama “threw Israel under the bus” and reaffirming his “Cain Doctrine” that “You mess with Israel, you are messing with the U.S.”
  
  Cain said if he was president, he’d offer the Palestinian side “nothing” in peace process negotiations because “I’m not convinced that the Palestinians are really interested in peace.”
At this point, Herman Cain is just running to be on the GOP ticket, as the VP.

Okay here is my problem with this situation. Obviously his last involvements with the fed. I like Cain and have listened to him on the radio sit in for Boortz for years. His place in the fed DQ’s him from high public office IMO. Perry and Romney have never been front runners. They are both weak candidates that will not get the nod. How can Cain be in support of the Fair Tax but not getting rid of the FED? Getting rid of the income tax would get rid of the fed so I don’t see how he is contradicting himself on this one. He was the chairman and realizes this whole fed scheme relies on new loans and forced income tax. Without either the system would collapse. I like his insight on the radio when it comes to partisan politics, but this stinks to high heavens to me.
- They are all from the same garbage pile! Why bother with any elections, if you are going to keep sifting through that garbage pile? The wells are poisoned and there is only poison water coming from them! Why continue to drink their poison water that is killing America?
the fact that cain worked for the Fed means he is a sold out stooge. Then there is the question of the voting process. Was this a public opening of the votes, or a proprietary computer tally? I don’t believe for one second Herman Cain beat Ron Paul. Rigged by the banker media complex.
- I don’t either I watched the coverage of the event and everyone there was saying how much Cain impressed them before the vote. And that they were pissed Perry didn’t show up. Actually I don’t think RP made a show up so maybe that was the Florida GOP rewarding him for paying attention to them.
That about covers it.
Extremely doubtful that HC can win nomination BUT it did my heart some good to see him bury Perry at Florida straw poll. I know he beat all BUT I am quite pleased that Perry’s meteor is fading and all that’s left in some whining noise off in the distance. Bring on Christie as the next punching bag. Republican billionaires are supposedly begging him to run. Eventually they will run out of neocon cannon fodder and have to face the fact that a white Republican Obama or even a man like Cain will lose. Ok, I support Ron Paul. Surprised? Dr Paul is the only candidate that has a consistent and principled message. If they want a glib spokesman he is not their man. If they want business as usual he’s not their man. If, by some remote chance, they want to change course and build a USA that can keep it’s sovereignty and prosper in the future then they should end the farce and support Ron. He educates us all on how to build and maintain a sovereign nation that keeps it’s focus on bettering itself on merit not militarism.
