 CHD Asks Supreme Court to Hear Case Alleging FDA Misused Emergency Power to Authorize COVID Shots for Children

Children’s Health Defense and five parents in January 2022 sued the FDA intending to hold the agency “accountable for its arbitrary and capricious authorization of a harmful drug that has and continues to injure children.”

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) attorneys asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear CHD’s case against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for granting emergency use authorization of COVID-19 vaccines for children and babies.

CHD’s lawsuit, filed Jan. 24, 2022, alleges the FDA misused the emergency power to push dangerous biologics on minors.

Robert Barnes, CHD’s attorney of record in the case, filed the petition for a writ of certiorari asking the Supreme Court to review district and appeals courts’ decisions that have prevented the lawsuit from moving forward.

CHD CEO Mary Holland told The Defender:

“CHD’s petition to the U.S. Supreme Court raises a critical question: Who can sue the FDA for malfeasance? So far in this case, the district and appeals courts have said that parents of vulnerable children cannot sue the FDA for its patent misinformation.”

In other words, Barnes said, “When the FDA lies to kids, who can hold them accountable and stop the lies?”

In this situation, the FDA “stooped so low as to use Sesame Street and Elmo to lie to kids about the safety, efficacy and necessity of the COVID-19 vaccines,” Barnes told the Defender.

Someone — or some organization — must be able to hold the FDA accountable, Barnes said. “The FDA is not above the law. That is why CHD is asking the Supreme Court to answer the question.”

Courts split on who can sue FDA

In January, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit in New Orleans upheld a lower court’s dismissal of CHD’s lawsuit on the basis that CHD and the five parents in the case lacked “standing” to sue the FDA — meaning the courts ruled the plaintiffs didn’t have the legal right to bring the suit.

CHD General Counsel Kim Mack Rosenberg, who called CHD’s petition “critically important,” said, “Standing is a threshold issue that courts must determine to move forward.”

The issue of standing has been one of the most “challenging problems” during the COVID-19 pandemic, Holland said. “Federal circuits have split on what level of harm must be present for individuals and organizations to sue.”

“Our case,” Mack Rosenberg said, “presents an excellent opportunity for the Supreme Court to tackle many of the unresolved or conflicting issues between the various federal circuit courts concerning standing, particularly given that Children’s Health Defense — an organization — is a plaintiff along with other individuals.”

Barnes agreed. He told the Defender that CHD is the “most logical party” to seek remedy representing the most vulnerable children in the country.

Lawsuit seeks to hold FDA accountable

As The Defender previously reported, CHD and five parents sued the FDA on Jan. 24, 2022, alleging the agency violated the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) when it authorized COVID-19 shots for children.

The lawsuit is intended to “hold the FDA accountable for its arbitrary and capricious authorization of a harmful drug that has and continues to injure children.” The plaintiffs filed an amended complaint on July 1, 2022.

The parents alleged risks to their children from COVID-19 vaccines, including severe adverse reactions and “the unrelenting and looming threat of being pushed out of society” by “the culture of mass vaccination and medical mandates.”

CHD and the parents alleged the FDA “abused its emergency powers, eliminated the notice-and-comment process, ignored citizen petitions, abandoned traditional safety mechanisms for assessing drugs injected into interstate commerce and the arms of American children, ignored express legislative limits on their actions.”

According to the complaint, the FDA misused its “emergency power to push dangerous biologics on minors, mislabel and misbrand them to the public, with the express knowledge that their mislabeling would lead to them being coerced on children and infants as young as 6 months old.”

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas dismissed the lawsuit on Nov. 18, 2022, “on the grounds the Amended Complaint failed to sufficiently allege that any of the Appellants had standing to sue FDA.”

There must be ‘equal justice under law’

The Supreme Court receives roughly 7,000 to 8,000 petitions for a writ of certiorari and grants only about 80 each year, so the odds that the court will hear CHD’s case are slim, Holland said.

“But this one merits review, not only because it’s a critical constitutional issue, but because circuit courts have split on the issue.”

This split means the courts are not uniformly applying the law — which is a problem, according to Holland.

On the front of the Supreme Court edifice is the phrase “Equal Justice Under Law,” she said. “There can be no equal justice if courts are applying the law in radically different ways. I hope the Supreme Court will hear this case.”

When man’s best friend becomes a politician’s worst nightmare

An adorable dog can soften a politician’s image, create viral social media moments and help voters identify with an office-seeker vying for their vote.

But take a misstep when it comes to the family pooch and prepare to face the wrath of dog lovers everywhere.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem became the latest politician to face dog-related backlash after she admitted in her upcoming book that, 20 years ago, she shot and killed her 14-month-old dog, Cricket. According to The Guardian, Noem writes that she “hated” the “aggressive” dog, who she says ruined a pheasant hunt and attacked her neighbor’s chickens.

The story created a firestorm on social media over the weekend and dog lovers from both sides of the aisle condemned her decision to kill her dog. Noem, who has been floated as a possible contender to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate, still stands by her decision from 20 years ago.

Noem isn’t the first politician to spark anger among critics from treatment of a dog over the years. Here’s a look at politicians who have been condemned for their behavior toward their pet pups.

Joe Biden

President Joe Biden faced fierce criticism after two of the first family’s German shepherds were involved in several biting incidents.

Last year it was reported that Biden’s 2-year-old German shepherd Commander was involved in 11 biting incidents with White House staff and the Secret Service. In February, CNN reported that Commander was involved in 24 biting incidents with Secret Service personnel. Commander was removed from the White House campus in October.

Three years ago, Major, also a German shepherd, was sent to live with friends of the family after his own biting incidents.

The incident spurred action from Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), who sent a letter to Biden and acting Labor Secretary Julie Su in October seeking to examine workplace safety conditions at the White House.

Foxx told POLITICO that she wrote the letter to remind the White House that it is “not immune to the laws of the land.”

“The President and First Lady care deeply about the safety of those who work at the White House and those who protect them every day,” Elizabeth Alexander, the first lady’s communications director, told POLITICO in October. “They remain grateful for the patience and support of the U.S. Secret Service and all involved, as they continue to work through solutions.”

Andrew Cuomo

After New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo resigned and moved out of the governor’s mansion nearly three years ago, the Albany newspaper Times Union reported that he wasn’t trying to take his dog, Captain, with him.

Cuomo reportedly asked mansion staff members if anyone would be interested in caring for Captain, a 4-year-old mix of shepherd, Siberian and malamute, who had nipped a few people since Cuomo adopted him in 2018, according to the report.

Democrats and Republicans called out Cuomo on social media for seemingly leaving his pup behind.

“Not only the Worst Governor in America. The Worst Dog Owner in America.” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) wrote in a post. “You can tell people’s character by how they treat their animals.”

“I’ll take the puppy,” Ron Kim, a New York State Democratic assemblymember, wrote on what was then called Twitter.

Cuomo refuted the dog desertion claims, saying on social media that “Some people just can’t get the facts straight.”

“Yes, I was downstate monitoring storm response for a few days, but Captain and I are a man and his dog,” Cuomo wrote in the post. “He is part of our family and that’s the way it will always be.”

Ted Cruz

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) caught heat three years ago after a journalist posted a photo of his family’s white, fluffy dog Snowflake looking out the window of the senator’s dark house while Cruz and his family traveled to Cancun during a statewide emergency.

The photo of the seemingly sidelined poodle immediately added to the backlash Cruz was already facing for flying his family out of the country during a storm that left millions of Texans without power.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a jab at Cruz on X after the photo began to circulate, saying, “Don’t vote for anyone you wouldn’t trust with your dog.”

Cruz denied that Snowflake had been left to fend for itself, saying that the dog had a sitter “and actually the heat and power was back on.”

“I spend too much time on Twitter, so I see apparently I’ve literally fed Snowflake to the wolves,” Cruz said at the time.

Pam Bondi

Before Pam Bondi was elected as Florida’s attorney general in 2010, she was involved in a custody battle with Hurricane Katrina victims over a St. Bernard.

Bondi adopted the dog in 2005 after he was separated from his family during Hurricane Katrina. But a Louisiana family had been trying to find their dog, originally named Master Tank but renamed by Bondi to Noah, and located his whereabouts in 2006.

Bondi refused to return him and accused the family of neglect because the dog had been facing longer-term problems like heartworms. The family said the dog had heartworms since he was 10 months old, according to St. Petersburg Times.

The family sued, and the dispute lasted 16 months as it played out on CNN and Fox News. Both sides settled the case just before it went to trial and Bondi returned the dog to the family with food and medication.

Mitt Romney

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) is still reminded of an incident that involved his Irish Setter Seamus despite it happening decades ago.

The story first surfaced in 2007 when The Boston Globe reported that in 1983, a 36-year-old Romney put the family dog in a crate on the roof of his car because there was no room in the station wagon during a 12-hour car ride from Massachusetts to Canada. The dog eventually got sick and Romney stopped at a gas station to wash the dog. Romney put Seamus back in the carrier, returned it to the top of the car and proceeded with the rest of the trip.

Romney later defended the decision, stating Seamus was in an “airtight” kennel and that the dog climbed on top of the car regularly.

The story garnered immediate condemnation from many politicians but especially became a favorite stick to whack Romney with when he ran for president.

During the 2012 presidential race, Republican rival Rick Santorum said that voters need to consider if Romney is the “kind of person you want to be president of the United States.” Also that year, fellow rival Newt Gingrich came out with an ad attacking Romney for the story. Former President Barack Obama also mocked Romney for the incident.

The saga even played out on the March 2012 cover of The New Yorker, which featured Romney driving a car with Santorum sticking his neck out of a doghouse that is tied to the roof of the vehicle.

DA’s fate rests with Hochul

DA DILEMMA: Monroe County’s district attorney wants you to know she’s “been humbled by my own stupidity.”

Sandra Doorley, the top prosecutor in Rochester and its suburbs, released an apology video this morning after she was caught on police body camera footage evading a traffic stop.

Now it will fall to Albany to decide what happens next, in part through the newly founded and longtime struggling Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct to decide the Republican’s fate.

Elected officials — Assembly members, a state senator and Rochester City Council members — are calling for a host of investigations into her conduct, stopping just short of calling on Doorley to step down.

She hasn’t budged, and local GOP officials have stood by her.

So there’s really only one person in the state who can force her out of office — Gov. Kathy Hochul. Hochul, a Democrat, on Sunday called on the commission to investigate last week’s incident.

In a statement, Hochul said Doorley “was acting in contravention of her responsibility as a district attorney and undermined her ability to hold others accountable for violating the law.”

The commission’s proposed rules show that any review conducted by the committee would be handed back to the governor. The commission itself has dealt with legal fights from district attorneys who felt it was an overreach since it was established in 2021, and it only recently got up and running.

The state’s constitution also grants the governor the authority to remove local officials from office — including sheriffs, clerks, mayors and district attorneys. But governors haven’t fully exercised that power for about 100 years, according to Albany Law School professor Bennett Liebman, who has researched the issue.

“While removal was once a regular power of governors and employed fairly frequently, in the last 100 years it has simply gone out of fashion,” Liebman said.

The last time a governor held a proceeding to remove an official was Gov. Herbert Lehman in 1936, and the last time a district attorney was removed in the state was 1900 by Gov. Teddy Roosevelt, Liebman said.

Rochester Assemblymembers Harry Bronson and Demond Meeks both want to see investigations play out before Doorley is called on to resign.

The two told Playbook in interviews that they are particularly focused on finding out what Doorley was doing when she entered her home after pulling into her garage: “What was she covering up?” Meeks said.

In the police video, Doorley refuses to pull over after going 55 mph on a 35 mph road near her Webster home.

Instead, she drove half a mile to her home, pulled into her garage and, at one point, left the officer in the garage and entered her house. Doorley also phoned the local chief of police and invoked her title as the county’s district attorney to the officer as she attempted to get out of the ticket.

Ultimately, she tells the officer to “just write me the fucking ticket.”

Doorley has said that she also wants to see investigations into her own conduct and will appoint a district attorney from another county to investigate her, but Bronson told Playbook she shouldn’t be able to choose her own investigator.

“Her sense of privilege and entitlement all are alarming, and she should be held accountable,” Bronson said. “I don’t think she should get to select who investigates her.”

The incident is also renewing scrutiny on the ways police officers may treat people of color differently than those who are white, like Doorley, Meeks said.

“I have a hard time believing that a person of color would have been able to talk about that situation the next day, even potentially not surviving that matter,” Meeks said. — Jason Beeferman

BIRTHING CENTER STAYS OPEN: The Burdett Birth Center in Troy will stay open after an arduous fight that ensnared state and local officials.

It received $5 million in the state budget to stay open for at least another five years, the sides announced today.

The center was initially slated to be closed down by St. Peter’s Health Partners, Burdett’s parent company, but it became the first facility in the state to be forced to complete a Health Equity Impact Assessment under a new state law that requires the review before a hospital can reduce to eliminate a service, the Times Union reported.

In the meantime, Attorney General Letitia James’ office was investigating the hospital’s decision, which led St. Peters to sue and then was followed with the state Health Department order in December that the place couldn’t close without state approval.

“We rejoice that the community’s concerns and outrage about closing Burdett have been heard, and funding has been secured to keep Burdett open for another five years,” Ashley Saupp, an organizer with Save Burdett Birth Center Coalition, said in a statement.

The coalition gave much of the credit to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, Assemblymember John McDonald and Assembly Health Chair Amy Paulin for securing $5 million to keep the center open. — Shawn Ness

ERIE CANAL BICENTENNIAL: A new attraction at the Erie Canal will be done just in time to celebrate its bicentennial next year.

“Waterway of Change: A Complex Legacy of the Erie Canal” was announced earlier today by Hochul.

“Waterway of Change will share the remarkable story of the Erie Canal and the area now known as Canalside with visitors,” Hochul said in a statement. “As the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal approaches in 2025, this visitors’ experience will draw more people to Buffalo’s waterfront and help them connect to its history in a new and participative way.”

Local Projects, a New York City design firm, has been working with the canal’s development corporation to create the exhibit. Other exhibits will also be created in collaboration with local groups.

An accompanying project of a 2,900 square-foot Longshed was also just completed after four years, right outside of where the new exhibit will be built. It will function as a gathering space for visitors embarking on the canal’s bicentennial experience. — Shawn Ness

LOWEST BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT: Mayor Eric Adams today celebrated a new report that found that the Black unemployment rate has hit a five-year low.

The unemployment rate decreased from 10.7 percent to less than 8 percent between January 2022 and April 2024.

It is the first time it has been that low since 2019 — which was before the Covid-19 pandemic struck in early 2020.

“As recently as last January, Black New Yorkers were four times more likely to be unemployed than white New Yorkers, but we have been able to narrow this gap,” Adams said in a statement. “We have more to do, and that’s why we’re going to bring new opportunities to working people across the five boroughs that have been overlooked for far too long.”

To celebrate the milestone, Adams announced the launch of the “Run This Town” campaign, a $1 million multi-media ad campaign to encourage New Yorkers from diverse backgrounds to apply for government jobs.

The campaign will include ads on TV, radio, as well as posters on the walls of the subway system, bus stops and other locations.

The announcement comes on the heels of another city initiative, “Jobs NYC,” designed to reduce barriers for economic opportunities for areas experiencing high unemployment.

“When we couple this advertising campaign with our Jobs NYC initiative, we’ll be able to more easily bring the public and private sectors together with talented New Yorkers who are ready to put their skills to work,” Adams added. — Shawn Ness

COLUMBIA THREATENS STUDENT PROTESTERS: Students in an ongoing pro-Palestinian encampment at Columbia University were picketing this afternoon to prevent officials from entering and delivering suspension slips.

A sea of students — many sporting keffiyehs, a traditional scarf that symbolizes the Palestinian cause — marched outside the encampment and around campus shouting slogans like “Free Palestine!” and “Disclose, divest, we will not stop, we will not rest!”

Dozens of faculty in high visibility vests were also standing at the entrance of the encampment.

At least 1,000 students — both in and outside of encampment — could be seen on campus as the encampment is in its 12th day.

In a notice distributed to students this morning, officials said they won’t face suspension and will complete the semester in good academic standing if they leave the encampment by 2 p.m.

“We urge those in the encampment to voluntarily disperse,” Columbia President Minouche Shafik wrote Monday in a university-wide email. “We are consulting with a broader group in our community to explore alternative internal options to end this crisis as soon as possible.”

In a statement, Columbia University Apartheid Divest — the group behind the protest — accused the university of unlawfully fabricating a state of emergency to suspect, expel and evict hundreds of protesters en masse. (The university denied that claim).

ZELDIN’S ANTI-ERA: Count former GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin among those opposed to the proposed amendment meant to enshrine a broad set of rights in the state constitution.

The proposed Equal Rights Amendment includes state-level constitutional protections for abortion in New York, and Democrats want the ballot question put before voters to help boost down-ballot turnout this fall.

A half-dozen swing House districts in New York could determine control of the chamber in January.

Zedlin, the party’s 2022 nominee for governor, echoed many of put forth by Republican opposition to the proposed amendment. An anti-ERA campaign has raised the specter of teens buying alcohol and minors receiving gender-affirming care without parental consent.

“There are wide ranging negative consequences if this amendment passes, harming parental rights, destroying the integrity of girls’ sports, extending constitutional rights to illegal aliens, and more,” Zeldin said in a statement.

Democratic supporters of the amendment have dismissed the claims as fear-mongering tactics — suggesting it’s a sign GOP officials are concerned with the potential electoral impact of the vote. — Nick Reisman

RENEWABLE AWARDS: NYSERDA has made tentative awards for large-scale land-based solar and wind projects from last year’s accelerated solicitation.

The authority announced provisional agreements with 24 projects totaling 2.4 gigawatts, some of which may be completed as early as 2025.

While NYSERDA has previously released project details and estimated cost impacts at this stage, the authority declined to release that information today. Project details and costs will be released after final awards are negotiated, according to the announcement, which is expected this fall.

That means New York residents won’t know the potential future bill impacts of the projects for months. The projects are largely ones that had previous agreements with NYSERDA, sought higher prices from the Public Service Commission and were rejected.

The 2.4 GW figure is a little more than half of the 5 gigawatts that were bid from 57 projects. The projects will provide about 3 percent of New York’s forecast 2030 electricity demand, meaning the state is now at about 60 percent. The 2030 target under the climate law is for 70 percent renewable electricity.

The authority is seeking developers and public input on another land-based renewable solicitation planned to begin in June. Comments on the request for information are due May 13. NYSERDA is also trying to backfill its offshore wind portfolio with another bidding process starting in June. — Marie J. French

CYBERATTACK CONCERNS: UnitedHealth, the parent company of Change Healthcare, is receiving pressure from a coalition of 22 state attorneys general, including New York’s Tish James, to better protect its patients.

The company was hit with a cyberattack in February that disrupted company networks and resulted in delayed access to patient care.

“Patients and health care providers nationwide should not have to suffer because of UnitedHealth’s failures,” James said in a statement. “UnitedHealth has an obligation to protect its patients and must do more to minimize the harm of the cyberattack on its systems.”

The coalition is calling on UnitedHealth to expand financial assistance to everyone affected, suspend requirements for prior authorization, among other provisions.

“Since day one, we have prioritized patient access to care and providing resources and support to concerned individuals, providers, and customers. We continue to offer financial assistance to those providers who need it and encourage them to contact us,” the company responded in a statement. — Shawn Ness

The Black Hole of Public Broadcasting

When I lived in North Jersey, I sometimes listened to WFMU, a free-form indie radio station, unaffiliated with NPR. FMU prided itself on the offbeat music it played and on the quirky personalities of its DJs, who were all unpaid. 

As FMU transmitted no ads, it conducted pledge drives to pay whatever bills a radio station with volunteer DJs who bring in their own records must pay. 

FMU’s pledge drives were characteristically unconventional. One Saturday afternoon, an FMU DJ launched into that formulaic sales pitch spoken both earnestly and, by turns, wearily by all public broadcasters:

“You know we work really hard to bring you shows and music that no one else plays. Unlike other stations, we don’t interrupt that programming with commercials. We’re here for you 24/7/365, even during blizzards and hurricanes. Our DJs don’t get paid. A standard pledge is only pennies per day, blah, blah, blah…”

After continuing in this time-worn vein and tone for a few more minutes, and without breaking his cadence, the DJ added, with some late-breaking exasperation:

“..so if you don’t support us by sending a check, well, I hope you get run over by a bus!”

His delivery was perfect. I LOL’d. 

But not all public broadcasting is as pleasing. 

Last Wednesday night, I stumbled on the PBS program entitled The Invisible Shield: A Celebration of Public Health. It turns out that Wednesday’s show was one of four parts of a series, which I found the next day on the Net. As I exercised, I listened at 2x to the other three phony and propagandistic episodes.

The PBS series, like so much other public TV and radio content, is profoundly agenda-driven and deeply disconnected from reality. The series’s theme is that we all owe our existence to Public Health bureaucrats, especially for the protection they provide against infectious diseases. 

This is a plainly false premise. Infectious diseases—especially respiratory viruses— are not nearly the threat to the populace that the series, the Covid Era media, or our culture make them out to be. 

I owe my existence to being under 80 and taking decent care of my baseline-vital body. And to food; farmers, harvesters, ranchers, and fishermen sustain infinitely more lives than do Public Health officials. For that matter, so do truckers and food store stockers and checkers. Plus, I grow and forage some of my own vegetables, greens, and berries. 

Germs don’t scare me. If some untoward microbe infects me, my God-given, or inborn, immune system deals with it. Though I take no meds, I might use antibiotics or steroids in a pinch.

Reasonably healthy people didn’t die from Coronavirus infections. Nonetheless, ignoring this core fact, the series demagogically begins by portraying the Black Death and cholera epidemics of centuries ago and noting that improved human waste management thwarted the spread of disease at those times. 

From there, PBS spuriously implies that Covid lockdowns, social distancing, Plexiglas barriers, masks, testing, and tracing were smart and necessary because these were also “Public Health” measures. Linking these long-apart eras and the very different forms of interventions during each is the biggest intuitive leap I’ve ever heard. 

No one who opposed the Covid overreaction has said that modern management of human waste should revert to pre-1900 methods. Further, while “The Invisible Shield” praises sanitation upgrades for lengthening human lives, the show never mentions that when chronically hungry people ate more calories and protein, they lived longer. Further, with much less mining and manufacturing, US jobs have become far less dangerous and many fewer people smoke (tobacco) now. 

In contrast, during the 21st century, segments of affluent societies have begun to eat worse. Consequently, they’ve become obese, diabetic, and/or have cardiovascular damage. Many of these unhealthy people were falsely said to have died “of Covid.” 

The four-hour series is a crass PR-puff piece for the Public Health racket. In it, a string of bureaucrats relentlessly make conclusory, fear-mongering, and superficial five-to-ten-second assertions. Nearly every one of these statements could easily be discredited via cursory cross-examination. But the series’ writers don’t allow facts to get in the way of their agenda. They disgracefully present these self-promoting lies as if they were truth. 

Throughout, the on-camera bureaucrats wear masks. They seem to be among the last not to know, even after four years, that The Virus isn’t scary and that masks don’t work. They also cluelessly laud the vaxx campaigns and portray mRNA shot opponents as dimwitted political partisans. The bureaucrats ignore that the shots failed, as had been promised, to stop the spread of a virus and that more jabbed than unjabbed, people have “died of Covid.” The bureaucrats also decline to mention vaxx injuries and deaths and fail to note the excess deaths in heavily injected nations. 

To falsely connote a state of crisis, the four episodes continually depict pedestrians in masks and visors or hospital patients hooked to medical machines. Throughout, an alternately panicky and mournful, minor-key soundtrack, with plenty of manipulative, single-note piano, cello, and violin, plays in the background as talking heads parrot such buzz-phrases as “soaring cases,” “people will die,” “body bags,” and “blood on their hands” as ambulance sirens wail and excerpts of frantic 911 calls play. If you wanted to parody histrionic Coronamania coverage, you couldn’t outdo this series.

The featured Public Health “experts” continually express frustration that some people ignored their Covid edicts. Blinded by self-importance, these experts can’t understand why everyone didn’t/doesn’t defer to, and obey, them. They seem not to understand that those who disregarded them saw the obvious illogic in, and refused to acquiesce to the suffering caused by, their pronouncements. 

Time has shown that those who refused to stay home, mask up, test and report their contacts, or inject were right: none of this theater worked. Despite their awful job performance, the delusional experts show no humility. 

This epistemically and journalistically bankrupt series relies heavily on the PC trope that minorities were disproportionately killed by Covid. It never cites statistics regarding this differential, nor disaggregates for income or other factors. A cursory Google search reveals data refuting PBS on this point. See, e.g., Covid death rate now higher in whites than in Blacks | News | Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I go by what I see with my own eyes: I know many Black and Latino people. Every one of them has survived the Scamdemic; good to know, but unsurprising. 

PBS pretends not to know that all of the Covid data are highly suspect and that medical mistreatment killed many patients who would have survived with either appropriate treatment or no treatment. 

It’s appalling that PBS could present a four-hour series, focusing mostly on Covid, and never acknowledge that the very slight risk of death presented by this virus was plainly age-driven and that, therefore, locking down the non-old or closing schools made no sense. This conspicuous omission tells you all you need to know about the series’ and the network’s lack of candor and credibility. 

Worst of all, the series says nothing of how lockdowns and Scamdemic spending trashed economies worldwide, have enabled the biggest transfer of wealth in history from the middle class to the already wealthy and have permanently impoverished billions of people. As Fazi and Green observe in The Covid Consensus, this impoverishment has already killed millions. Deaths caused by Covid lockdowns, school closures—and consequent educational deficits and giveaway-induced inflation and poverty will continue to grow as years unfold. On average, the less educated make less money and live shorter lives.

After all that’s happened, the series’ talking heads/cheerleaders still stick to the fable that lockdowns, school closures, masks, testing and tracing, and the shots saved lives. Laughably, the show suggests that only rash, political opposition/obstruction prevented better outcomes. They link NPI and vaxx opposition to MAGA-ism and even to January 6 demonstrations, even though many have pointed out, as I have, that many Republicans injected mRNA and that Trump messed up badly in March 2020 by caving to the public health bureaucrats, subsidizing lockdowns and later, foolishly promoting the jabs, which many Trump opponents—especially minorities— sensibly refused.

Ultimately, this series is the most blatant example of revisionism that I’ve witnessed. The series’ producers glorify the Public Health apparatus’s ham-handed 2020-2023 disruption of American life, which delivered no public health benefits. The series fails to note that Sweden and many African nations that declined to lock down, mask, test, and trace had better health outcomes than did the US. Similarly, a February 2022 Johns Hopkins study confirmed what was obvious to the naked eye: states and cities that imposed many burdensome Covid restrictions didn’t fare significantly better, and often did worse, than did those that applied a much lighter touch; without all or the collateral damage. 

Various public health bureaucrats shown by PBS whine about how hard they worked during the Scamdemic aggregating and crunching phony data and developing rules to harass the public. They audaciously claim, as Democrats do in many other contexts, that the Public Health bureaucracy was underfunded during the Scamdemic and that, to prevent the next pandemic, taxpayers must more heavily subsidize ineffectual bureaucrats. They’re effectively saying, ‘“Spend more on us so we can do more harm.” 

But less is often more; it certainly would have been during the Covid response. The Public Health bureaucracy should be sharply downsized, not expanded. The money saved would be far better spent on annual classes to show students how to eat and be active. Note to educators: discourage carb consumption. The public would also benefit much more if we spent a fraction of erstwhile public health budgets to subsidize healthy food instead of funding the bloated salaries of Public Health bureaucrats, both domestic and international. 

You can lead horses to water but you can’t make them drink. Ultimately, we should accept that many of those who know that eating, drinking, smoking, and injecting some substances will damage their health but will do so anyway. And that, as a result, some people will get sick and die younger than do others. We should also accept that not everyone’s bodies are the same. It’s how life is.

In the series’ final ten minutes, the music changes from grim to cheerful as Public Health grifters say that more people should pursue Public Health careers and that we should more heavily underwrite this extremely overrated enterprise.

In the meanwhile, and as manifested in “The Invisible Shield,” Public Health bureaucrats and the media will continue to lie about everything that’s happened and everything that they’ve done during the Scamdemic. They’ve calculated that, by doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down on untruth, they can avoid ever having to admit that they lied throughout the past four years. 

Anyone connected with this thoroughly dishonest series should be deeply ashamed and discredited for praising Public Health officials’ Scamdemic performance. The public health bureaucrats and the purveyors of this misinformation, and their public broadcasting allies, are a blight on humanity. 

But these two factions are very well-capitalized. Pharma can bankroll private and public media outlets in perpetuity. And taxpayers will continue to subsidize public TV and radio. And NPR and PBS pledge drive pitch-people will repeatedly tell gullible prospective donors how important it is to support “independent” media that keeps them well-misinformed.

Commisionned by Grupo Karim’s, and designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, the first Smart Forest City in Mexico will focus on innovation and environmental quality. The city balances green and built spaces, and is completely food and energy self-sufficient.

Smart Forest City – Cancun is the first Forest City of the new millennium, and it can host up to 130.000 inhabitants. Imagined instead of a shopping center, the open and international city will be built on a 557 ha parcel, with 400 hectares reserved for green spaces. In fact, the 400 different species in the project were chosen by botanist and landscape architect Laura Gatti. They will form the 7.500.000 plants in the project, 260.000 of which will be trees. With a ratio of 2.3 trees per inhabitant, the Smart Forest City “will absorb 116.000 tons of carbon dioxide with 5.800 tons of CO2 stocked per year”. Public parks, private gardens, green roofs, and green facades, help create a balance with the built footprint.

With circular economy at the core of its conception, the city is surrounded by solar panels and agricultural fields, making it completely food and energy self-sufficient. Water is gathered at the entrance of the City, next to the desalination tower, and it is distributed “by a system of navigable canals in the whole settlement up to the agricultural fields that surround the urban area”. Within the city, people circulate via internal electric and semi-automatic mobility, leaving their cars at the edges of the city. 3 networks of energy infrastructure, mobility, and green offer each inhabitant all the services he needs.

On another hand, Smart Forest City – Cancun offers flexible distribution of the built structures in the five big sectors defined by the master plan. Finally, the city holds “a center for advanced research that could host all worldwide university departments, international organizations, and companies that deal with very important sustainability issues and the future of the planet”. These departments will welcome researchers and students from all over the world.

Kandiss Taylor Threatens Violence Against Those Who Oppose Christian Nationalism

Kandiss Taylor is a flat-earth, election-denying conspiracy theorist who unsuccessfully ran for governor in Georgia in 2022. Undaunted by her paltry showing in that election, Taylor subsequently became a Georgia GOP district chair and also began hosting a weekly program called “Jesus, Guns, and Babies” on the far-right Stew Peters Network.

Peters himself if a racist, far-right anti-LGBTQ bigot who regularly uses his own nightly program, speeches, and social media accounts to promote white nationalism and virulent antisemitism while spreading wild conspiracy theories, bigotry, and calls for violence.

Taylor has said that Peters is her “best friend,” so it was not surprising to hear her issue a threat of violence during a recent appearance on Peters’ program.

Peters has repeatedly and openly called for violence against the government and his perceived political enemies, threatening time and again to deliver “extreme accountability,” by which he means public executions.

Taylor, who has her own history of issuing warnings of violence, used that exact phrase during her recent appearance on Peters’ show while discussing what will happen to those who oppose her Christian nationalist efforts to place the church in control of the government.

“We need to make church the state’s business again,” Peters said. “We need to bring Jesus Christ to the state, and we need to eradicate any form of government that is oppressive to the individual rights, individual liberty, prosperity, peace, liberty, property, of anything, our God-given inherent, unalienable rights, and replace that with a form of government that’s representative of the people and God’s law.”

“We are the church and we run the state,” Taylor replied. “Even if they don’t believe it to be so, it is a fact. And if they keep pushing around with American people, and they keep playing all these games, they’re gonna find!”

“How are they gonna find out?” Peters asked. “How are they gonna FAFO [fuck around and find out]?”

“Extreme accountability,” Taylor answered.

“I love it,” Peters gushed. “You’re speaking my language.”

MP Andrew Bridgen: I’m Afraid COVID Vaccine Deaths Are ‘Going to Be Bigger Than the Holocaust’

“We are witnesses to the greatest medical scandal in this country in living memory — and possibly ever,” British member of the UK parliament Andrew Bridgen declared during a monumental speech in the House of Commons.

MP Bridgen has shown himself to be a man who does not mince words or shy away from telling the truth as he sees it. He paid a heavy cost when he was stripped of the Conservative Party whip and then subsequently cast out of the party after tweeting that a leading cardiologist had told him that the vaccine rollout was the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust.

But recently, Bridgen has taken it one step even further. In a recent interview with a Resistance GB journalist, Bridgen now says that he is “afraid” that deaths from the COVID-19 injections are going to be “bigger than the Holocaust.”

“We’ve got to be somewhere between 10 and 20 million people have been killed by these experimental vaccines worldwide, and it’s still going up,” lamented Bridgen.

When asked if more British MPs are coming out on the vaccine issue, Bridgen replied, “No.” He says most of the other MPS are silent on this because they “have got their hands in the blood up to their armpits.”

The British MP also stated that there is “overwhelming” evidence of mRNA vaccine harms and a “clear link” between the shots and an increased incidence of cancer, citing a newly peer-reviewed study from Japan.

Bridgen said, “The evidence was pretty considerable 18 months ago when I first spoke out. I mean, it’s overwhelming now. Every week, there’s more evidence. Paper out last week in Japan of a clear link now between people who’ve had the boosters and increased cancer. We know why. It’s the SV40, the simian virus 40 promoter region that Pfizer didn’t disclose [is] in their vaccines. I mean, there’s a clear link with promoting cancer.”

10 to 20 Million Deaths?

MP Andrew Bridgen is not pulling this 10 to 20 million COVID-19 vaccine death figure out of nowhere.

In September 2023, Denis Rancourt and his fellow scientists conducted an all-cause mortality analysis to assess the potential negative impact of the COVID-19 injections.

What they found was stunning: all-cause mortality increased every time the COVID-19 shots were deployed.

For every 800 injections administered, Rancourt and his colleagues concluded in their 180-page paper that one vaccine-related death occurred.

This 1-in-800 number becomes even more alarming when you consider how many doses were given.

At the time of Rancourt and colleagues’ report, 13.5 billion COVID-19 injections were administered.

Divide that number by 800, and you end up with approximately 17 million COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths.

Here is the Premier of Australia, which has become such a hotbed of censorship efforts of late, opining that it is the “responsibility” of social media platforms to suppress “misinformation.”

He specifically lauds taking down memes of him with his face superimposed onto other images.

Being a certain sort of cat, this put me into a certain sort of mindset.

Because perhaps certain people need to learn about the Streisand Effect.

And about the power of memes.

And the way in which memes help us see more clearly just what these vexatious vassals of verity violation mean with all this vituperative vilification.

It all comes down to seeking a monopoly on truth, a monopoly on being allowed to speak, a top-down guild system for what can be know and what can be said.

It’s becoming an industry and an increasingly unaccountable international order.

It’s all the usual suspects. It’s the intelligence agencies, the WEF, and the billionaire clown club pushing this through non-profit profiteers around alleged global health, global climate, and global security.

And the fight is here. It’s not tomorrow, it’s now.

They have been surrounding us.

And now they will seek to tighten the noose so that it becomes as inescapable as it is unaccountable.

They want your privacy.

They want your anonymity.

This is not about your safety.

This is about their safety.

Their own accusations indict them with unerring precision as they “always accuse the other side of that which they are guilty.”

And they are gearing up for the next attack. It will be on a new axis (or more likely a set of axes), because that’s the game.

We’re seeing all manner of issues blowing up in the Middle East. That’s the invite for the security state. And suddenly we have widespread protests all over the US and other nations in support of “known terrorist groups.” These protests look oddly well-organized and vitriolic. They are starting to veer into violence and threats.

I have no idea if the Soros funhouse gang or the WEF or the IC are helping to stir this up to create a pretext for grabbing surveillance and suppression powers or if it’s just radicalism gone wrong and another collectivist youth movement showing the unavoidable lesson that those who make careers of dragging others into struggle sessions inevitably wind up dragged in themselves, but in the end, it does not really matter.

(To be clear, I absolutely believe that they all would happily do something like this, I’m just not sure if they are smart or effective enough and I hesitate to ascribe such outcomes to plotting in the absence of specific evidence. But it’s not like these groups were or recently became trustworthy.)

But what I do know is this:

Whatever the source or impetus, they are not going to let “a crisis” go to waste.

“Terrorism” is a wonderful election gambit (and there are elections all over the world this year and they have not been going well for “team globalist” lately).

It’s a cross ideology bipartisan tried and true hobgoblin to frighten, unify, and manipulate a populace. It’s how you scare people into trading rights for the illusion of safety.

And we all know how THAT one goes.

Just imagine the response they will justify and demand and the intrusions they will normalize and portray as virtue the picosecond something blows up in a bombing or someone gets targeted and killed.

“Now is not the time to argue about rights, now is the time to act!”

Make no mistake. It’s coming.

They don’t need to do it themselves, just shake the jar until the bugs fight. You set the ball rolling and you sit back and wait.

It’s Dictator 101: you encourage and up the pressure until some atrocity occurs and/or life becomes intolerable and then you swoop in to grab power and fix it.

You don’t need to go full “reichstag fire.” (but it’s always an option)

This game is as old as time and never gets any less dirty.

They do it because it works. They do it by relentless increment. They disorient, they frighten, then they take. When you wake up and push back, they give a little back, slide into the background, and wait for you to calm down. But you never get back 90% of what was usurped and it just normalizes such takings for next time. And there is always a next time.

They are gearing up to do it again. The signs are all there.

And the way to stop it is to call it out now.

It’s MUCH harder for a magician to do a trick if Penn and Teller are sitting in the audience calling out the methods right beforehand. It renders the whole thing transparent and silly.

And this is why they want our speech, our memes, our ability to build and support community.

And this is why they must not have them.

The inch we must not yield is this inch.

They are not seeking to suppress us because we are powerless.

They are seeking to suppress us because they are afraid.

We are many and we are strong.

And we are increasingly awake, aware, and unified against these ideas and agendas.

This is a gross miscalculation by the Statists.

And we must ensure that we too do not let this crisis go to waste.

The hearts and minds are not with them.

They are with us.

We’re seeing it start to rise all over the world.

As we know our own minds and their tricks, we will come to turn them out.

They are hopelessly outmatched.

And the time for tolerating totalitarian power grabs is over.

So let’s go.

The revolution will be fun.

(The Rundown Live) It’s no secret that in 2024 the American police state already acts with wanton disregard for most civil liberties. From the county level all the way up to the federal, one of the most discounted constitutional rights of the American citizen is that of privacy.

To put it frankly, we are being spied on all the time. And it is happening with ever increasing frequency. We all know this. The existence of illegal mass surveillance programs hasn’t been a secret for over a decade, since government contractor Edward Snowden came forward as a whistleblower to reveal the NSA’s PRISM program in which millions of innocent Americans had their private data illegally swept up in an intelligence dragnet. And yet it is still one of the most blatant violations of basic rights that is widely known and simultaneously brushed aside by the citizenry.

Case and point is the fact that just days ago the president signed into law new extensions to warrantless mass surveillance, exponentially expanding the unconstitutional spying capabilities of the federal government to unprecedented levels and hardly anyone even batted an eye. But the fact remains that this kind of illegal surveillance of Americans is nothing new, exemplified by the reporting of award-winning journalist Meyer Berger in his 1938 exposé for The New Yorker, police have been wiretapping American citizens to illegally spy on them since at least 1895. 

Fast forward to the present day and police have all sorts of new toys to help them snoop on citizens. From pervasive Stingray technology to Fog Reveal “mass surveillance on a budget” and beyond, the tools being utilized to violate constitutionally protected privacy rights in the name of the “greater good” are becoming evermore sophisticated.

This has become particularly true in recent years with the rise of artificial intelligence, and it’s growing integration into law enforcement. One area in which AI has already seen some pushback from civil liberty advocates is it’s use in facial recognition technology wherein critics highlight several issues with the technology ranging from overall privacy concerns to faults in the technology leading to misidentifications and false arrests.

The premise of expanding AI surveillance into everyday law enforcement is quickly becoming more than just a concept. In a September interview with Police Chief Magazine, Exploring AI For Law Enforcement, AI expert Frank Chen discusses in an interview with San Mateo County undersheriff Chris Hsiung the potential general applications of integrating artificial intelligence with policing. In the conversation one line stands out (emphasis ours);

“Technology can help officers get to the scene of a crime with more awareness by tapping into cameras installed in fixed locations or even community members’ smartphones. Once there, officers can use technology to gather and analyze all kinds of data: eyewitness accounts, video surveillance, DNA, fingerprints, and other forensic data.”

While on the surface that may sound like a positive thing, helping cops more effectively do their jobs. When considering the fact that police don’t solve the vast majority of major crimes and the copiously documented history of abuse throughout the institution of law enforcement across the country, it may be wise to think twice about expanding the mass surveillance capabilities of the enforcers of the state.

In some capacities mass surveillance of this nature has already been underway. 

A November 2023 report detailed the ways in which police were circumventing warrant requirements by purchasing personal data from private vendors as a means of collecting information on American citizens.

Additionally, a report from the Electronic Frontier Foundation documents how Google’s Sensorvault shares GPS and other location data with law enforcement in order to trace and track individuals locations via geo-fencing.

As EFF notes, “because Google stores this data indefinitely, Sensorvault “includes detailed location records involving at least hundreds of millions of devices worldwide and dating back nearly a decade.”

The data Google is turning over to law enforcement is so precise that one deputy police chief said it “shows the whole pattern of life.” It’s collected even when people aren’t making calls or using apps, which means it can be even more detailed than data generated by cell towers.”

One glaring real time example of how this kind of technology was used against American citizens occurred during the 2020 police accountability protests following the murder of George Floyd. Despite the warnings of civil liberties advocates early in the pandemic that contact tracing technology would be abused for surveillance purposes, these concerns were considered little more than conspiracy theories. Until the protests following the murder of Floyd erupted across the country.

Shortly thereafter, an investigation by digital privacy advocates revealed that indeed contact tracing technology was used by police departments to track the activity of activists and protesters in what amounts to blatant violations of both 1st and 4th Amendment rights. 

These are just some of the ways in which law enforcement collect mass troves of data of American citizens, and as artificial intelligence technology continues to evolve and become further integrated into these systems the likelihood is that the nature of such surveillance will only become more prevalent.

While the integration of AI into police departments is still somewhat of a nuanced topic, as some reports indicate that it can be useful in aiding efforts of police accountability and reducing instances of police brutality if utilized appropriately — 

As a society it would be wise to be wary about the unchecked integration of such technology into an institution so fraught with corruption and abuse, one that is already showing increasing interest in using AI algorithms for “precrime analysis”, otherwise known as predictive policing, to profile individuals in an attempt to stop crimes before they happen. Such an effort without strenuous ethical oversight could very easily lead us into a world not unlike that of Minority Report.

Create a landing page or send people to a reputable site with the needed information. Get your boots on the ground. Do it today. Do not wait. Your fellow human needs you right now.

Gone are the days of the Renaissance Man; The polymath ideal of humanism; Man is the center of the universe and he should embrace the search for all knowledge because man alone has the limitless capacity for development! 

Alberti, the architect, painter, poet, scientist, horseman, and mathematician; Da Vinci, the artist, painter, inventor, musician, scientist, and writer; They are ghosts of our past. Today! — well — that all just sounds…Tiring.

Apathy provides an easy route to the path of leisure and the ultimate terminus of any critical thought. Maybe, after we put in a hard day at work, the TV beckons with its flashing lights, sounds, and entertaining stories. We relax, shut down our mind, splay out on the couch, and we forget our worries.

A few minutes later, the episode ends in a cliffhanger and the countdown to stream the next episode starts. 5…4…3…2…1…The music; the intro; our tension begins slipping away to the subtle relief of knowing a resolution is near. We don’t notice it, but suddenly, it is late, and we are awake longer than we should be. We finally drift off to sleep thinking about tomorrow morning’s snooze button and dreading yet another hard day at work.

On the other hand, the Renaissance Man possesses a unique and remarkable combination of rationality and emotion. Mathematics and science are the rational pursuits, whereas the arts and physical activity provide the emotional breadth. The result is a very balanced individual who is an expert not only of many areas, but also of himself. 

One of my first exposures to this uncommon mix of traits was a series of childhood novels that played on the dynamic between the rational and the emotional. The stories were filled with danger, adventure, mystery, and intrigue. There were two brothers, the older possessing a strong sense of rationality and logic, and the younger of recklessness and passion. The younger brother’s spirit often gets him into trouble and causes his older brother to use his reasoning and strategic capabilities to get him out of it. They are both school-aged children but their schooling is rarely ever mentioned in the novels. Together, The Hardy Boys use their abilities, passion, and logic to solve an extremely varied array of felonies including murder, drug peddling, smuggling, kidnapping, and even espionage.

The brothers are pilots, ship captains, martial artists, and athletes. They know sign language, technology, sleuthing techniques, and they have the critical thinking skills to both strategize and see through stupidity. They apply their varied skills and more importantly, their sense of bravery and duty to the mysteries in the books, and they always find success.

Today, the idea of the Renaissance Man seems quaint, and rather, we have chosen to narrow our focus even as the range of possibilities has expanded considerably. Specialization now reigns, and with it, even the simplest of professions have many barriers to entry. Training programs, degrees, fees, and licensure all take many months or years and cost thousands of dollars. It is necessary to navigate this bureaucratic maze simply to have an opportunity to look for work in one’s chosen profession. Lastly, the barriers to entry and the specialization together create an additional psychological barrier that today can be referred to as credentialism. If someone does not have the correct credentials, we are much less inclined to listen to them, no matter their experience nor expertise.

Then, one day, there is a mystery. A novel pathogen becomes a Pandemic. The specialists, especially those with power set the scene.  Stay home, Stay Safe. Wear a mask. Wear two masks. Some people are not essential. 

Generalists and experts from other fields were shouted down.  You are not a Doctor! If it saves one life! 

Specialists in the same field, who raised reasonable objections, argued for defaulting to the previous knowledge base regarding pandemics. They were ostracized. There needs to be a quick and devastating published take-down of [The Great Barrington Declaration’s] premises.

But the Hardy Boys are trained sleuths, and they never needed credentials nor the backing of any organization. Rather, the years they dedicated to pursuing their interests allow them the expertise to handle a wide array of problems. Furthermore, their sense of duty compels them to speak out and expose the crimes. Neither fools nor cowardly, their knowledge and internal fortitude propel their actions. 

Are there any examples of Renaissance Men today? Yes!  One in particular was the Valedictorian of his college. He is an MD, PhD, biostatistician, and has applied his vast knowledge to the areas of neuroscience, psychiatry, nutrition, epidemiology, the problem of reproducibility in scientific research, and even economics. Writing and the arts have not escaped him either. He penned a love story about star-crossed lovers — a humanities professor infatuated by a professor of genetics — in a libretto for an Opera performed at Stanford.

He also was among those with the courage to speak out. A day after President Trump ordered nationwide lockdowns, he wrote an editorial that wondered whether the global response to the Pandemic may be a “once in a century evidence fiasco” and he tried to organize a meeting at the White House to caution the President against further shutdowns.

Specialization is often a deception. Years of training, education, and study easily ensnare the mind into an arrogance built on the precipice of expertise. However, without continued study of other areas in which one is merely an apprentice or a novice, the mind’s sleuthing abilities become dulled. Worse, because of the status an expert tends to hold, others will project that expertise onto areas in which the expert has no knowledge — even when the expert will directly contradict that idea.

The New Yorker published an article that is an abject mishmash of ideas from various different experts, and one can almost see how easy it was for mask-obsession to overtake even the most fortified minds. Open the economy! The virus is resurging! A recession is starting! The economic recovery is growing! Wear masks or we will have to slow reopening! 

The article mentions that Fauci only looks at it from a very narrow public health viewpoint and doesn’t pretend to be an economist. Despite that admission, the article concludes that the President should listen to Fauci more in order to protect the economy.

Yes, that was all in a single article. Compare the New Yorker article to the editorial by our Renaissance Man expert and marvel at how well-reasoned the Renaissance Man is across the spectrums of public health, psychology, society, and economics. Right down to the conclusions, where one cautions not to jump off a cliff, whereas the other argues to follow an admitted non-expert over one.

Some men lack the ability to decipher information and they choose to forgo the solitude required to reason coherently. It is a process made more difficult by the often conflicting reports about everything and everyone.

The Renaissance Man, on the other hand, is up late studying. He is writing. He is thinking. He may be an expert in several fields that credentialism will never allow him to find employment in. He is a master of himself, and a Hardy Boy.

In 1974, professor César Navarrete, published a book entitled:
“The Greek origin of the Araucanians
(original title ” el origen griego de los araucanos)
As the official historian of the Araucanian race, Lonko Kilapán reveals that an expedition started from Sparta between 800 and 600 BC travelling towards the east. The expedition crossed over to Asia Minor and followed the route towards the Far East; passed through the north-east of India and descended to the region of Laos (deriving from the greek word ΛΑΟΣ; pronounced laos which means “people”). From there they descended further down to the peninsula of Malaysia and sailed in the Pacific Ocean. Moving through the islands (Indonesia, Micronesia, Melanisia and Polynesia they were able to reach the island of Galapagos and from there they entered south America (Peru).
(Galapagos, a compound word from the Greek words gala (γάλα) = milk, and pagos (πάγος) = rock, which means white rocks) All the above island complexes have compound Greek names: “Indo-nesia”, “Micro-nesia”, “Mela-nesia”, “Poly-nesia”…The second word all of them consist of is nesia, meaning in Greek “island complex”, while the first one denotes a main property of these islands or their inhabitants. These names were not given by the navigators of the West but they had already been given.)
According to Lonko Kilapán, they decided to settle on a similar latitude to that of Greece; between the 42nd and 35th south parallel (Macedonia is situated on the 42nd northern parallel and Crete on the 35th). They named the area Phyli (Greek word ΦΥΛΗ meaning “race”). From this term the word “Chile” is derived. The Greek settlers learned the local language and appplied some grammatical rules from their own.
Lonko Kilapán is not the only one that has written about the Greek origin of some of the indigenous people of America. Writer Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa (1532-1592), in his book “Historia Indica” states that it can be deduced that the ancient Greeks reached America as in the land of Yucatan and Campeche the indigenous dressed like Greeks and used many Greek letters and words including the word “Teos” (ΘΕΟΣ, pronounced theos meaning “God”). Lonko Kilapán also states that although the Araucanian language was not written it is estimated that it used many Greek words since one can still find today traces of Greek in about 20% of the words used.

Victoria Police lose Supreme Court defence for reprimanding officer for refusing Covid-19 jab

Australia’s mainstream media was very quick to inform the general population of how Victoria Police officers have been reprimanded/stood down for not participating in the Covid-19 jab, whereas the judiciary was exempt.

No ‘court reporters’ on such a monumental matter? All is silent on the western front!
