A dentist, lawyer, and former real estate agent dubbed the “birther queen” for her several lawsuits challenging President Barack Obama’s citizenship may go up against Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein in 2012.
Orly Taitz told the Sacramento Bee that running against Feinstein would give her a platform to discuss issues the “corrupt establishment” have been “refusing to talk about.”
“I think I do have a chance specifically because I do speak Spanish and I speak Hebrew,” she said.
Taitz has made a name for herself since the 2008 presidential election by claiming Obama is not a natural born citizen and thus ineligible for office. Though she has earned a small cult following for her legal efforts, judges have consistently dismissed her lawsuits against Obama’s right to be president as frivolous.
After Obama released his long-form birth certificate, Taitz accused the president of Social Security fraud. Her lawsuit against the Social Security Administration wasdismissed in August after the judge ruled Taitz had failed to produce any evidence that the social security information was being used improperly.
