Anonymous has now joined forces with AdBusters in calling for a non-violent occupation of Wall Street beginning on September 17th. Simultaneous occupations of financial districts are now being planned in New York City, Madrid, Milan, London, Paris and San Francisco.

Some say this maybe a set up or they will be waiting. I say go and if the provocateurs go into action the crowd should jump them folks that act in violence, subdue them and turn them over the police and demand justice.
I am VERY skeptical of this. Seems to me to be a SET UP. They say it is non violent but you can be ASSURED that provocateurs will be placed there.

I see this as another attempt to shut down the web. This will somehow turn into a “Flash mob riot” just like they SET UP in the UK.

Do not under estimate these people, they WILL dress like us and talk like us but they are NOT US (truthers).
- It would be difficult to enforce a complete weapons ban of 100,000 people; that much is true. Still, doesn’t necessarily make it a set up, merely ripe for probable exploitation. Regardless, I doubt it will end peacefully considering they used the word “occupy.” The government will not tolerate losing control of it’s most precious piece of territory for several months. You can bank on this peaceful revolution turning violent. Then again, maybe that’s the point? People need to see with their own two eyes exactly what Wall Street is capable of before they can be springed into action.

Anonymous is under an illusion if they believe they can occupy Wall Street peacefully. And by occupy, I hope they mean actually walking inside the physical building and damanding justice; rather than protesting in a certain “designated free speech zone.” I hope these revolutionairies have a good idea what they’re getting into and don’t see it as some mindless party. There’s a good chance that if indeed, Anonymous intends to storm the building, many will be coming home in FEMA made coffins. A non violence protest doesn’t mean the other side will necessarily return the favour.
- My point is eveyone praises the work of Ghandi and his non-violent revolution; when they should really be asking, what would have happened had the British elected to shoot?
The video said that they would occupy for a couple months, they will have plenty of time. anyone with any kind of brain would occupy when the resistance is at its minimum, like, on a weekend when everyone who works in wall street is busy doing drugs and commiting adultry. Just wait untill they show up for work on monday and there’s an army of protesters lying in wait….

I think its great, and its about time.
I go to their website and see Ameritrade sponsoring partner. Immediately the alciada kicking some garbage cans over vision pops in my head. Lindsey said the September will bring an accelerated schedule. This seems like it may be part of it.
- Agreed bigo: I see many many Anonymous Black Bloc police forces on hand to insight violence and chaos, so the multitude of citizens in each city cry for more protection from these vandals in black. Leaving us with an even larger police state then before. This may indeed be the prelude to martial law.
  
  Who indeed is Anonymous? Who funds them? I recall them issuing they would destroy and leak a plethora of dirt on attendees of Bohemian Grove this year, yet I heard nothing of this happening. I believe once they learned only two or three protesters showed up at the Grove they took no action. Interesting how non participation by way of numbers in the streets deters them from action. They gave their word they would release this dirt yet nothing. It was only an action to get you out and arrested. Which never happened.
  
  Those who do attend this action I warn you to take action and detain any and all Black Bloc individuals who begin violence against innocent shop keepers or businesses. Arm yourselves with zip ties and pull a citizens arrest on them. Group yourselves to record and take action against them. In the end hold them, identify them and record their faces, if at all possible get their finger prints on paper and ink pad, prior to releasing them to the police. If they are indeed police they will never be processed by their own. While arresting them have others in your group circle around those arresting and protect your group from Black Bloc hurting you. Ban together or be destroyed.
Who’s really running Anonymous? Occupation of the financial centers worldwide…on a week-end? How about a work-day when our tax dollars don’t have to pay OT to the police.
Great idea, but really bad timing. The cops will be in the NYC subways streets stopping all that are headed downtown.
Wow, seems like a great idea. I doubt the mainstream media can ignor 100,000 people camping on the streets of New York and protesting the bankers looting of this country. If this is true Im down for it. I will spred the word.
Uh…..The 17th is a Saturday. Wall Street wont be in. FAIL
