What we ended up doing is setting up a system whereby we did cut by $1.2 trillion upfront, the deficit over the next 10 years. And we set up a group of senators that have to come up with another $1.2 to $1.7 trillion in savings or automatically there will be cuts that go into effect in January to get those savings. So the savings will be accomplished. But as I was talking to some of your leaders, you share a similar concern here in China. You have no safety net. Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family. The result being that you’re in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable.

So hopefully we can act in a way on a problem that’s much less severe than yours, and maybe we can learn together from how we can do that.

But in the meantime, the concern that we will not make good on the investments that people have made — in your case up to $1.7 trillion total out of a very large economy is not to worry about. We could not afford — we could not afford not to make good on that requirement.

No guts, a complete sell out, a cowering and unprincipled idiot. Americans MUST second guess a regime which forbids people the right to have more than one child. And this asshole is our leader? The VP of USA says he is OK with China’s oppressive laws? Biden is a bumbling idiot. Unreal how unintelligent our leaders are. Unreal. China has an official One-Child policy. The US and other western countries, have unofficial zero-child policies.

I’m not sure what Infowars or Alex’s fascination with China’s 1-child policy is, but here are my thoughts.
I just pulled this stat from an article: “Nearly 46 percent of American women through age 44 are childless. That’s up from 35 percent in 1976.”
And I recently read that less than 50% of Canadian women have kids. So 1 out of 2 women don’t have any kids at all. I personally know a girl I went to school with. In less than two years, she had 3 abortions. And she’s still childless, like so many other Canadians.

Both the U.S. and Canada have substantial immigrant populations which have higher fertility rates than native born whiteys. If you were to take immigrants out of the equation, the average childlessness is probably higher than 70-80%. You can’t deny alot of latinos have high fertility rates which is artificially pushing the average higher and higher, which hides and distorts the shrinking white population stats.

My point is this — the U.S. or Canada does not have any “policy” or “law” on how many kids you can have. But women, and couples, are voluntarily choosing, on their own accord, to have no kids. It’s as if the U.S. and Canada, and for that matter almost all “western” countries, have unofficial Zero-Child Policies!

Personally, I could care less about China’s “official” population policy.
Think about this: The country of China has enough babies in one year, to replace every single Canadian.
I’m Canadian. That would be replacing myself, my entire family, every single friend I went to school with — the entire population. They have so many people there — 1.3 billion or more — not including the countless “Chinatowns” that populate every major city around the world.
