Obama has issued a threat to states that refuse to accept Syrian refugees- comply or get ‘penalized.’
A growing number of states are defying Barack Hussein Obama’s insane importation of 200,000 so-called ‘Syrian Refugees’ in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
The fear is, terrorists will able to enter our country under the guise of being a refugee. Those concerns are valid. Also, the quality of the security checks or vetting process is questionable at best.
In a letter sent Wednesday, Office of Refugee Resettlement Director Robert Carey said he is aware of the concern expressed by some local leaders in allowing Syrian refugees into their states, the Washington Examiner reports. Carey advised that “all refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States,” in what he called a “multi-layered and intensive screening and vetting process involving multiple law enforcement, national security, and intelligence across the Federal government.”
“Syrian refugees are subject to even more precautions than other refugees,” he added.
My question is, how can we thoroughly vet these people when they are coming from countries that don’t have the capability of keeping accurate data on their citizens? This is actually ridiculous.
Not to mention, the national intelligence leaders have stated that Syrian refugees could be embedded with those who are ISIS terrorists.
States are required to provide “assistance and services … to refugees without regard to race, religion, nationality, sex or political position” according to the Refugee Act of 1980, the letter points out.
“States may not deny ORR-funded benefits and services to refugees based on a refugee’s country of origin or religious affiliation,” the letter states. “Accordingly, states may not deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees.” States that do not comply with Obama’s demands are subject to “enforcement action, including suspension or termination.”
So again, Obama is trying to force us to comply with his demands or pay the price- just like with Obamacare.
Obama wants to bring in 200,000 refugees when EVERYONE in the world KNOWS that ISIS warriors are hidden among these people. It’s pure insanity! SCREW OBAMA! WE NEED TO LOCK OUR BORDERS AND EXTERMINATE THESE BASTARDS!
Personally, I think that EVERY state should block these refugees from going to their states!
