Two car thieves have threatened a man with a tomahawk and a gun during a violent home invasion at Beaudesert, in southeast Queensland.
Police say the pair broke into the house around 3.15am (AEST) on Tuesday and demanded the man’s car keys.
They punched the 27-year-old about the head before driving off in his car, which had been parked in his driveway.
The victim was treated at the scene for facial injuries.
