Catholic Church Scandal: Nuns’ crimes in "Magdalene Laundries" revealed

Irish human rights lawyer and trainee barrister in London Maeve O’Rourke has compiled 5,000 pages of testimony from survivors of the Catholic “Magdalene Laundries” run by nuns in Ireland where women were tortured, abused, overworked. The world is quickly finding out that these catholic institutions for so-called “fallen women” was a place the Vatican established to benefit from free labor, and catholic nuns manipulated the minds of thousands of woman calling them “sinners”, destroying the self-esteem of each woman so that they would never have the courage to speak out against the abuse they endured at the hands of the catholic nuns.
