A man has been charged after cocaine with a potential street value of more than $38,000 was allegedly found in a four-wheel drive in Sydney’s east.
A Toyota Prado was stopped on William Street, Woolloomooloo about 9.40pm (AEST) on Tuesday.
A police search allegedly uncovered more than 250 small bags of cocaine, $20,000 in cash and amphetamines on the 39-year-old male driver.
He was arrested, taken to Kings Cross police station and charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing a banned drug and one count of dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail and will appear at Central Local Court on August 7.
