Awake Goy More than 50 extremist Israeli Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Sources said that groups of ultra-orthodox Jewish settlers raided the holy site and toured the vicinity, performing mythical Talmudic rituals as Israeli police forces escorted them.
Following the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967, and subsequent annexation in 1982, Israel has maintained a compromise with the Islamic trust not to allow non-Muslim prayers in the area.
However, non-Muslims are permitted to enter and desecrate the holy compound whenever they want and the Israeli occupation forces and police work to evacuate Muslims during the Jewish raids.
Israeli forces nonetheless regularly escort Jewish visitors to the site, who often times carry out prayers in an attempt to challenge the status quo at Al-Aqsa, leading to tensions with Palestinian worshipers.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site on earth for all Muslims all over the globe.
